Received call from 480-428-1108.  Man identified as Mr. Tyson from Debt Recovery Systems? He did not say who he was calling for.  Message was distorted with a lot of static... except when relaying his name and the 1-866-402-0790 number, and that it was an attempt to collect a debt.  I have no debt.  Must be a scam.

Mr. Stein at Dynamic Recovery Solutions left a message about an urgent office issue.  At the end of the message he mentioned he was required to mention that this was "an attempt to collect a debt" yada.  So, new year, new name, but the same old tricks.  The number was from Joplin MO (417) 208-2151 and the call back number was (866) 606-9942.  Like the rest of you, I have no debt and a spotless credit report.

Received a call in October from a Mr. Tyson and Mr. Patterson with the same voice and message.....a scam.

Numerous calls.  First from Ms. Holmes.  Now from Mr. Poe.  Same story as all the others.  Very fishy.

I got a call from a ms.holmes stating the same exact thing its a scam. I live in Louisiana.

They cannot do SQUAT without first proving that you owe the debt. Here is what another poster---an attorney has to say about this subject:

"IF they do not provide you with the verification of the debt, the debt is invalid and not subject to collection.  PAY NOTHING TO ANYBODY UNLESS THEY PROVIDE YOU WITH WRITTEN VERIFICATION OF THE DEBT, AND ONLY THEN IF YOU FEEL THE DEBT IS VALID - otherwise, let them sue you for the debt, as a real law firm will only bring a legal action on a truly valid debt".

It's a scam they called saying I owe $6407.00 from a card i never owned from the bank of NY. They later said it was b of a. I called B of A. they said it looks like a capital one number. Capital one said it's an HSBC Union previllage account number. All of these banks said from my SSN# i don't owe them anything. This is a scam call the FBI. They also say the debtor can file a 1099 C to add this amount to my income. None of the stuff is on my credit report.

Oh it was Dynamic Recovery 1-888-402-0790 and Mr Tyson does work there. So does Miss Murphy and Renee

I got a call from Mr. Tyson saying my number was the contact number and he is trying to collect a debt! No other info, but is imperative I call! I don't owe anything to anyone! Another lowlife debt collector!

Got this same call by Mrs Holmes a minute ago.

Got the same call this morning twice called back to back - he called from a 201 number and left the 1-888-402-0790. Mr Tyson - didnt say who he was calling for - just an urgent matter in his office and it was an attempt to collect debt and any information would be used for that purpose... if it was so important why dont you state a company name hello!

im on the do not call list people why do i have it if they can buy the numbers and get away with it i have the numbers as   312-7117 and also 888-402-0790 FHSFDHF&%^ thats  what i got to say..don't they realize that and debt over 7 years is null and void..who ever they are looking for if you read this let them know that and set them straight they are ruthless, its hard times for everyone in the world... hey debt recovery if you are reading this please remove me from your list ......

these people called my cell phone also mrs holland and they couldnt transfer me cause they were having problems with the phones..he said that they were looking for another person and i told them do not call my cell phone any longer and repeated it like 3 times before he got rude and hung up on me the recording says it a debt recovery.....

1st call was Mr Tyson stated that this is attept to collect a debt and it was very inpearative I call him back (@8:37am)
2nd I called number right back @ 8:40am a lady answered the phone and and wanted my name I said no I wanted to speak to Mr. Tyson she respond with he is on another call I said I would hold she stated ok (she never put me on hold she was listen for any imformation  that she may be looking for) Than she hung up.
2rd call 8:42am a old man answered phone and stated a name and ask if that was me I said no and that I wanted to speak to Mr.  Tyson he as you can imagine he also hung up.
4th call @8:43am another lady answered the phone I ask to speak to Mr.  Tyson she stated he was gone for the day.   He worked a whole 10mins.  WOW. LOL slimeball..........

the same number called "19994020790" and im 14 years old so i dont have any debts and ive had this number for over 4 years   he called said it was very important i call back soon and he is required to tell me its about debt collection

got a call from Mr tyson who said I needed to call this number I had a debt that I had to pay off today or be arrested. I told him send me info so I could give to my lawyer and he didnt care for that

These guys call you by using a local interchange phone number to catch you off guard,when they call you a local area code will show on your caller id don't answer it if it's a number you don't know let it go to voice mail,then they will tell to call a toll free number (1-888-402-0790) they are a collection people trying to collect money that you may owe,alot of these collectors are using local number's to call you so they can catch you off guard and you will answer your phone don't fall for it.....................

Recieved a call from Ms. Holmes attempting to collect debt from phone number 972-865-4659 and call back number 888-402-0790. Did not sound like a call center it was very quiet background and and echo.

I got a phone call today at 9:02am i didn't answer it cause i don't answer numbers i don't no so they left me a message it was from some guy name Tyson he left me a number to call them back 18884020790. I called that number back some Jessica girl answered i gave her my name and she told me i owe money on a cash/pay day loan amount of $250. to $650. received in my banking account Dec. 11 2011 i was very angry at this lady cause i never in my life received one of them loans cause they are scams so i told the lady to take me to court cause im not paying that i never received that money she said she was gonna let them no i refused to pay and she hung up on me.. I called my bank away to ask them to get copies of my statements of Dec. to see if there was ever money put into my bank account and their answer was NOOOOOOOOO... It's sad seeing people like that calling everyone to get there banking account info to take our money..EVERYONE NEVER GIVE YOUR INFO TO THESE KIND OF PEOPLE IT'S ALL A SCAM!!

Got the exact same message.  Sounded absolutely bogus.  Not calling back!

Part of the conversation was "I need to see a copy of this debt"

Reply:  "we are not sending anything further as we have sent papers for months"

Send them a letter VIA certified mail with return receipt validation of the alleged debt. This is your right under the FDCPA and they have five days to respond. If they continue calling or sue you without first validating the debt, you can sue them.

Said I have an outstanding balance on a debt of $62,000 that I can settle for a mere $201.00...   What I did not like was that they got the last 4 of my SS..   Going to place a call to the Feds from here..

same call from mr tyson same message. havnt received a letter from him and have no address to send one to. ive had some real good other ones too. stating theres a restraining order on me. stasting they need deposition for fraud. out and out illegall
collection practices! but how do i get addresses? anniemck
