According the the BBB they have only been operation for 3 years how are you going on 4?

Called and told me they could approve an SBA loan, they would fax papers for me to fill out.  No response when I called back.  Found that this is a scam.  Beware business owners.

To all of you who think this is a Scam YOU have NO Clue what you are talking about!!!!! I know for a fact that this is a very Legimate company .  First of all, none of the agents from FPA claim that they
are with the Federal Goverment.  They are working on a Federal Government program for small Businesses.  This program was originally started at McDill Airforce Base in Tampa, Florida by Purchasiing Agents.
In 1994, President Clinton passes the Federal Acquisition Regulations 19.502 TOTAL SET ASIDE funds.  For everyones information,(who THINK THAT THEY KNOW EVERYTHING!!! Every year your state and every state gets awarded 10 billion dollars, to be spent on small businesses by government and non government agencies in your local area.  IT IS VERY TRUE THAT ANY PURCHASES UNDER 100.000.00 DOLLARS, THERE IS NO BIDDING. AND YOU GET THE SAME DAY.    SO QUIT BEING NASTY ON THE PHONE TO THESE AGENTS!!!!!!!!

i have been doing business with fpa and have not yet doubted their work.  I have picked up numerous jobs thanks to their help.  For anyone who has doubts or thinks that it is a get rich quick program then my only advice is to give it a try....Im going on 4 years now and am very happy.

Just received a call from "Toula" from FPA. She asked if we were a "Small Business" and said that if we would like to do work with the Federal Government - on a local level, she needed to talk to the owner or President of the company.  The background noise was so loud that I could hardly understand/hear what she was saying.  I'm in the habit of googling most long distance numbers or companies that I've never heard of before, especially ones that either ask for owner, or have initials for company name.  We are in construction and we do work for the federal government - You DO NOT have to pay to do work for them.  You have to submit lowest and best bid and your company has to qualify.  All you have to do is check the websites for bidding opportunities, etc.  If you have TO PAY to work for the Government, isn't that considered - BRIBERY, CORRUPTION, ILLEGAL!
To those that are gullable - go with the old standby - If it sounds too good to be true, It probably isn't!  Also, my personal word of advice - Never give out any info to a company you have never heard of, especially if they are out-of-town.  Always, check them out - Google, BBB, etc.

Dont call FPA back. This is a scam. they indicate they are calling regarding work for the Government.

Nunya - she does not say she is from ND.  And if she and BF were NoDaks, her boyfriend would know a scam when he heard it, and that is exactly what this is.

Diane at the FPA 888-408-6759 calls every single day!  I don't answer, and she leaves a message every time.  Same MO as described above, Gov. work, no bidding, payment after completion of work via, check or direct deposit.  I'm riding this one off as maybe, maybe not a scam, but something as a business owner I'm not interested in.  At the very best, my guess is They'll take the $600 one time "set up charge" with a $100 per yr. renewal fee and we'll never receive any work / calls.  At the worst, someone will actually provide them with their bank account info. and it's a full blown scam.

Caller Id states 701-661-1007 - Purchusing Dept. "Ginger" from FPA in the line. Wants to talk to the owner about small businesses doing business with the federal government.

Guess what? We already do business with the government. And I can hear the dozens of cold callers behind you.

I'm assuming the same day payment would be our payment to them, not any payments to us.

(Seriously, does anyone believe the federal government could process ANY payment the same day - other than a senator's expense account?)

Who cares if she's just his girlfriend -- she's obviously saving him from making a bad investment because SHE CARES. I get involved with my fiance's business all the time -- he even asks me for my opinion and help! Don't judge people just because they run their small business differently from yours.

I just received the same call from a "Mark" 888-408-6759 ex 101 saying the same about dealing with the government. We're a small business and we receive a lot of these calls every day. I just end up taking down the message and throwing it away. So we'll see if he calls again.

I got a call today asking for the owner of the company.  Caller id showed 701-651-1007, however, Tara Martin claimed to be from Florida.  Wanted to qualify us as a small company to do business with the Federal Government.  Said that we would get a call back from someone to qualify us.  Said that their fee is $650.  The whole conversation just felt like a skam. After the call I put her number into yahoo just to see what would show up - no surprise that we are not alone.

I got a call today from this number: 888-408-9169...stating I was going to recieve a court summons regarding a master card debt from HSBC.  They had my address, name, last 4 digits of my social.  Reported to the police (for what they can do).  Dont call them back, they are bottom dwellers!!  I'm posting this message wherever I can!!!

Haven't they heard of google.  Did the same thing.   Asks for the owner!  If you don't know their names, you can't talk to them!!  I wonder if they ever succeed?

I received a call from this guy named Eric Griffin from the FPA.  He asked for the owners of our company I just took his name and the number he gave me 888-408-6759.  I figured I would google it to see what the place was glad I did!  There are so many scams out there now it's impossible to figure out if someone is scamming or not.

The same thing happened to me but the guy was "Eric Griffin" at 888-408-6759.  He talked like an idiot I couldn't understand him.  I tried to just transfer him to the owners voicemail but he wanted me to take a message.  He said he was from Florida.  Our company is in MN what the heck?!   We get so many telemarketing calls it is so annoying!

Same as all of the above. I was called today at my business and the rude guy on the line must have said federal government 5 times during the 1 minute conversation I had. As if that would convince me to hear him out. Very pushy.

Wow this scam has been going on for years! I got a call this morning from "Shawn Garvin" with FPA.

Received numerous calls from F.PA. Guide trying to get me to sign up with them as a Contractor. Supposedly to have more job opportunities. I asked for more detailed informatio by email and have never heard from the, so I checked with the BBB and learned that this company is running a scam!The website I was given: www.fpaguide.com and the email is cs@fpaguide.com. The customer service number:888.408.6759.

Lawson called from FPA asking to speak to the owner about doing business with the Federal Government on a local level.  Yeah Right.  Could hear all the other calls in background. . . .  BullS#$% deal if you ask me . . .  He was very rude.  Called during the lunch hour.

Got the same scam call as in all of these posts. The call came from 701-661-1007 and the call back# was 888-408-6759. Sounded like a call center, very noisy in the background. Heather was this lady's name and she was not very polite or friendly. Kept trying to get information from me, but wouldn't give her any. When asking her for name and company name would hardly give me any info.
