No message, tried calling back and someone picked up but could only hear typing.

Got a phone call from this number. When I answered, they were looking for Chris. I've been receiving bill collector calls for Chris from different numbers for four months now.

I'M NOT CHRIS FOR F***S SAKE.

called my parents, said it was about a job application... I'm not calling back!

I am so tired of having this number calling me and sometime wake me up.  When I answer no one talkes, so I sure would like to know what is the problem, I am register on do not call list and I do not owe anyone any money.  Quit calling me who ever you are....

Confirmed Male caller provided but did not catch his name Mr did confirm FRS a few times. then Provided Financial Recovery Systems as the callers company name.

just got the call from this number, 888-411-4684... did not answer as usual, but no message was left. from other postings i suspect that it's a scammer.

These people keep calling.  I do not answer 800, etc. calls.  No message is ever left.  From the Internet, it is a collection agency.  We have excellent credit rating and owe no one any money.

so, I called back just now and a lady named "Melanie" answerd. I said they just called on my caller id and she said, what is the number of my phone number i gave it to her and she said they couldnt tell me who they were looking for cause the number has been removed from there "Dailer" and flagged as the wrong number. ha ha ha. i beat them at thier own game.

I aksed who she was she said her name was melanie and I said are you a company she said yes they are a bill collection agency. i asked the company name and she said FINANCIAL RECOVERY SERIVES. I love playing stupid and phishing info from scammers.

so now we all know not to answer this number. ha ha ha.

Ok everyone. It looks like from the above link and some QUICK research I just did, that this number may be

FINANCIAL RECOVERY SERVICES

but not totally sure just yet. They called and I did not answer. They did not leave a message. I jumped on here, I alsways check this site to see who is calling before I answer. There was no SOLID indication of a fact of who it is. So i called right back and a very very rude lady answerd and said, "this is Brittany how can I help you?" I said I dont know, this number just called me and was on my caller id, se said looks like we were looking for such and such but i said not at this number. so she rudly hung up in my face.

I have an investigator background and it looks like this may be a direct line or what is called a trap line, where people call but dont id the company then pry you for info. I will call back and see who answers and what they say, maybe they will slip and mention the company name. I am better at phishing info then thses scammer bill collectors.

I'll let you know what comes of it, also for those of you who care or need to know, if you call back the numbers after hours usually there is a recording that says who it is, so i will try that as well and post it here.

Actually I am a student & studying in USA. Last night I got a call from 888-411-4684 no. & the person was talking about some outstanding amount which I suppose to pay within the last morning. But the person was completely unknown to me & this money matter was also not related to me. I tried to make him understand that might be he is making some mistake but he was not ready to understand anything regarding this. Finally I got the information of that telephone no. from ?

No message. I suspect it's a zombie debt collector - I have been getting a lot of those calls but they never leave a message. I'm getting to the point where I'm ready to change my number. :(
