What business has this number?

above is the reason that i was let go from my investigations job. go figure try and be good to the bank and the release you for "speaking for the bank"

This is a valid number this is Our direct number into our investigations dept. I work for the bank

I work for CHASE and this is our valid number in the fraud investigation department.  You received some misinfomation somewhere along the way.

BEWARE!  THIS IS A SCAM OF PEOPLE TRYING TO GET YOUR PERSONAL INFO!!!  They left a message on my cell phone saying they were conducting identity theft on my charge card and they were from "Card Services."

I called them back and the girl said "I cannot find your information. What is your social security number?"  I told her that I was not going to give her my SS# and that she should have it as she just called me 10 minutes ago.  She kept insisting that she needed it to prevent identity theft on my Chase card.  I hung up and called the phone # on the back of my Chase card.  They said that no one from their company had called and my account was fine and that these people were trying to steal my personal info.  

I called the police but they told me that they can do nothing until a crime is committed. That is why these people keep getting away with it.  It is not a crime to call someone and ask them for their SS#.  It is only a crime after they have used the info. and only then can they investigate.

As of 06/24/09, this appears to be the fraud investigation department for a credit card company.

Does anyone know what business owns this number?
