I got the same call from the same guy.  After refusing to answer the phone I received a letter in the mail from Willard Fields Law. I looked up all information pertaining to this law firm and it is limited. What really boggles me is that Willard Fields was in connection with 2 people who were being convicted of starting a fake mortgage lending company. It says he's a real estate broker, but if you go to his website there's no picture of either one of the so called " Bankruptcy" lawyers. On the letter it says to call Nationwide Debt Mnmgmt solutions to the same number that back tracks to this lawyer. Hmmmm... well the good thing is I paid off my debt tomy creditors by making the money to the local company and told them I required a paid off letter.

Loved your response!  This gentleman is calling me by the name of Dominick. He says I owe on a loan and I needed to pay in full.  I told him I would be sending documents proving I had paid that loan. I gave more and never even missed a payment. I asked him for an address where I can send documentation...guess what he couldn't provide me with that information.  Hmmmmm. He still calls.

The more these scammers talk,  the more they throw themselves under the bus. Ok Collector... We'll see you in court.

All the posts referencing that people who don't pay their bills are the pathetic ones or who are defending this fake debt company is obviously one of them. Why else would they be on here commenting? Everyone else probably put these jerks number in Google or what not to see who the h#!! Keeps harassing them or to see if this could possibly be real after they hear the things out of one of the scammers mouths once they realize they are not getting a dime from you. If you had a legit, smoothe, good experience paying an old debt you wouldn't go online and find a comment thread associated with their number, read it, and decide to defend them with some of the same lines they use to bully people... Such as.. "Take care of your responsibilities etc." Come on no one is that loyal to the person taking their money.

I call B.S. this post is from someone who works at this ridiculous agency and may be the so called "Mr. Anthony" himself posing as another fake character. Even if you have a debt, which is not uncommon, isn't the worst thing in life to deal with. At least we are not these bullies who will face their own wrath one day, which will most likely be a much bigger, serious, and unlpleasent consequence then our unpaid debt would ever bring. Karma is real. Not this nationwide b.s. scam.

I had received several recorded messages saying that someone had papers to serve me either at my home or at my place of business. I've received calls like this in the past which I knew were fraudulent. Then my mom received a call from this number, claiming to be collecting on an old Sprint bill, which is not a valid debt. They said my total was 1505.00 (really?!) I told them I needed something in writing that said what I owed, and why and to whom, and they kept saying they would send that when I made payment arrangements. I told the girl I refused to give my account info to anyone who couldn't provide some kind of documentation as to what was owed and why. Offered me a settlement of 500.00 something. Said they had sent a letter to me 45 days ago. I asked to what address as I had received no correspondence from sprint or anything like that since I had sprint (2005). They had supposedly sent the letter to the address I had in 2005. Really? It is not like I have been living without an address. Have only had 2 in the last 10 years. They said they were going to file suit locally (for them) which meant in CA, and that that would make it even more expensive for me. I told them that their scare tactics wouldn't work, and that until they could prove to me I even owed this debt I wouldn't pay anything, that I would go before a judge before I gave them a cent. I then hung up. They also never represented themselves as debt collectors, and never read the statement that all debt collectors read. And though I asked, never provided their company name.

They are not scammers this is nationwide debt solutions a collection agency hired to collect unpaid balances from people who have not paid credit card and medical bills. Just pay the money or wait 7yrs for credit card debt 10 yrs for medical debts to be removed from your account. They can sue but so can you. Get informed use the information on https://www.epic.org/privacy/financial/fcra.html to get educated on what they can and can't do. Make a formal written request for them to stop calling you and they have to stop or they are breaking the law. If you end up being sued that's on you but it's a legimate debt collection agency and by law until you ask them to stop calling they can call between 7am  and  9pm everyday all day.

These people keeping calling my # trying to reach my husband (with an urgent matter) the guy tries to sound all tough and professional, I can hear the scam in his tone. Never leaves any info as to what this urgent matter is about. I refuse to answer or waste my time calling him back. And they most definitely don't want my husband speaking to them. The # is the same one you listed, but the call back # they leave is completely off the wall. I'm sorry for everyone's issues with these people but glad I found this so that I am certain this is a scam. Let's shut this place down!!!

They have called my work, my wife and my family repeatadly. I contacted them and said to send me what they believe I owe, original creditors name for my review as legally I have 30 days to dispute this. That set them into a condescending mode about why I did not open my mail, why my life was so bad I could not pay my debt, and how I was a bad risk. I only asked for the correspondence in writing so first I could dispute it legally, second so I could send them a letter to cease and dissist contacting my work, friends and family which is the legal wat to do this under the federal trade commision laws. Lets see if I even get any mail as it seems by other posts this is not the case!

This number called me today saying they were from some company (that I didn't catch all of but part of it had to do with Social Security Disability) she asked if there was anyone in my house who was hurt/disabled who needed benefits or something. I stopped her, said you can take me off your list because I actually WORK for Social Security.  Click. Call blocked on my phone.

They have called 3x.  Asking for someone who is not at my number.  Saying it is urgent. Only identifying as Nationwide DMS.  After having read these comments, I am not going to return their calls, and have had their number blocked by my phone carrier.  I don't owe anyone anything!

I received a call about a debt too. The lady said that it had been given over to Richards (their "legal" dept.). They're full of bologna and I'll tell u EXACTLY how to get em to p****off. First off, this guy Richards, posing as their lawyer or legal department, is really just the team manager to what seems to be only TWO collection agents. He stands over their shoulder and tells them what to say all day...that's his job. I used to work in collections for a few months, man were those bad times. But anyway here's what u do. Just like I did, tell them to send you a "VALIDATION REPORT OF THIS DEBT, BECAUSE THE FDCPA STATES THAT AS A CONSUMER YOU ARE ENTITLED TO VALIDATION THAT THE DEBT BELONGS TO YOU. Make sure u get the acronyms right and say it word for word. They will not agree to send u a validation, because for one it has to include a detailed billing history AND a copy of the original contract for the debt that must be signed by you. They won't have these things, trust me...so they won't send it and they'll skirt around it saying things like, "that won't help you", or "your time is already up", or "we already sent it to you. Demand it though. Then you say (word for word), SEND IT AND STOP CALLING OR SENDING ANYMORE LETTERS OR I WILL REPORT YOU TO THE CFPB." Forget the other ppl on this page who say go to ur local police or tell u to use any other acronyms other than FDCPA and the CFPB. What are the police going to do, really? This is the way to handle this matter. Don't let them change the subject or intimidate you just keep demanding the validation as your right as a consumer under the FDCPA. You have to use the proper wordage so they know that u know what ur talking about. I called 4 times in a row using these same lines and was hung up on each time b/c they knew that they couldn't validate the debt. Of course if you REALLY do owe the debt, even though this still works, don't be a bum....pay your debts.

The caller left a message, )I don't answer calls from #'s I don't recognize) & he said that this was a time sensitive matter. I had to call back by a certain time today. Did not give me the name of the company. I felt is was some kind of scam. I'm glad that I looked on here & surprised to see how long this has been going on.

OMG I got a call today and fell for it. There address is 3609 Bradshaw Rd, Suite H-229, Sacramento, CA 95827. I gave them my Debit Card information. Now I have to call my bank and report it so they dont wipe my account out. I panicked and fell for there scam!!!!

This company nationwide dms calls my work everyday. I have repeatedly told these people to never call me at work. Each time I get a call from a different number even an unlisted number as we'll. I was in a bad place and got a online pay day loan which I regret getting. I was paying the company couldn't pay once and the manager went off on me talking over me and talking down to me. They told me if I didn't pay they would contact my employer an garnish my wages. I was making my payments to Bank of America they have an acct there. This company calls themselves legal team-lawyers. How can I stop them from calling my work place ?

Under the name "Mark Anthony" this same individual tried the same thing with us. We initially fell for it. When we refused to get a loan through Springleaf, he got very aggressive. We actually made some payments. After reading this page, I made some inquiries, and contacted our bank. The bank began a dispute and fraud investigation, and immediately changed our card numbers. Today, after the bank's investigation was completed, we actually received $350 back. This man is an absolute fraud!

This number called me and said she was with SOCIAL SECURITY and needed more information on my "disability claim" I said "uhh im not disabled at all.." ...she hung up...

916-369-6595 is the number that keeps calling me. So I called the 888-414 number back cause thats what "Jessica" said call back, so i called this number back after a "jessica" called me numerous times and a man said she had already left for the day, which i voiced was odd since she had just left them message on my phone less than 5 minutes ago. He told me that the call was because of a payday loan I took out over two years ago. He was rude and talked down on me and told me that he was a nice guy, and that i was being rude and unprofessional, and talked over me and was yelling. I never got rude with him until he called me unprofessional and i thought it was funny since I was not the one at work. After i told him my lawyer will contact him he calmed down then thats when i snapped on him. He then transferred me to a "Kimberly Yatt" and she told me his name was "Mr. Anthony, Richard Anthony". I set up payment arrangements to settle the debt and for them to stop harassing me at work and at home. I have also talked to a "Tim Russin"

I got a fax sent to my work trying to get income infor about me and address ,several calls from them saying I owe a past due bill from ge but would not give me any infor except the last 4 numbers of a account I have no idea about .They are rude and telling me if I dont pay they will sue me.What should I do ?

Called me asking for my wife and badly mispronounced the name. they call her all the time claiming she ows money. she doesn't owe anything. the same company called me saying that I owe thousands but a small payment would settle it. we both requested a claim in writing. my wife is bullied when they call. I told them not to call and she did too.this is an unprofessional. they block the number when they call and threaten legal action as well.

Get a phone call on my cell phone from a Richard look for my brother-in-law. Wanted me to take a message and give it to him.  I told him that I had no way of contacting him and would take the message but not promise anything.  I asked how he got my cell number.  He said he was doing an investigation looking for him and was contacting his relatives.  You find anythnig on the Internet.  I hate the fact that he was harrassing me and got me cell phone number.  He also asked which brother I was married to so he would bother my husband with the same call.  How considerate....I think not!

Richard called my work and left what I considered a threatening voice mail on my coworkers extension, listing my name along with my wife's name and that he was going to get an attorney involved. I called him back and advised him that 1.) This call was being recorded, 2.) THAT I DID NOT WANT HIM CALLING MY JOB, He became rude and would not let me talk, continuing to talk over me. This is where I advised him that my position at work does not allow for phone calls and tried to give him my home phone number. He said that was a problem because he already had it and no one ever answers that number. He continued with his threats So, I advised him to go ahead and get an attorney involved which provoked him even more as he knew he had no other recourse. Wife has no job, I am head of household so they can not garnish my wages. I remained calm. Now I'm off to see my BK attorney with a copy of the Voice Mail and This last exchange. $$$. NOTE: I know Richard and other collectors read these posts.....ever think they are the ones leaving the positive feedback???? Hmmmm just thinking......

Been getting calls from "Richard" as well. The voicemails initially left on MY phone number, were looking for my mother in regards to ME, which I thought was humorous, since if you listen to my voicemail recording, that's clearly not my mother's phone. Didn't hear anything for awhile, but did some searching for the phone numbers left and saw the COUNTLESS posts about how this was a scam, so I warned my mother that if she ever got a call from these people to not answer the phone or give out any information.

Finally the messages this week were directed at me, and "Richard" sounds extremely pushy and rude in the messages I've got. It's funny that he says he's left "countless" messages, but really, it's been about three. Four counting the message I just about 20 minutes ago.

Did faxing anything help? I don't want to answer the phone for these people, but I also don't want them calling my job or continuing to harass me, either.

UNBELIEVABLE, these people are preying on our military. Calling my son repeatedly, called his CO. I sent him this website. He is closing his bank account. Hoping his Command will understand this is not his fault. People need to get a conscience.
