called husband's cell phone, he has never had a pay day loan and his phone is not on any list...unbelievable...no message, just using a minute up of our time we have to pay for...

This number has been calling me for a while too. They never leave a message. I did call the number back and the lady told me they were loan specialists. Anyway, I just ignore.

Calls of this type are likely due to the victim, at one time, filling out some online application of some kind. Most sites advertising loans, financial assistance, etc. are nothing more than traps to steal your information. Another possibility is that someone used a random number on one of these applications and it just happened to be yours.

Your best option is to install or use the existing call block software on your phone and block these calls. You can go report them to law enforcement but these people are often calling from out of the US and are not bound by US law. The numbers are often spoofed.

I have had the same problem. I asked several times for them to stop calling and remove me from their list. The haven't stopped. Sooo I coked them and have called them non stop for 1 hr and hang up after they answer. Do t think it will stop their annoying harassment. Just felt good to annoy them.

They have called as much as 30 times in 1 day. A rep with an Indian accent will ask for some weird name and then when I convey that it is a wrong number they hang up and call back 15 minutes later.   This should be illegal.

They are from star recovery inc - office number 855 820-5219 but their automated recording is 888-415-0066 They have been told several times the person they are looking for has never worked here...but they keep on calling.. up to 5 times a day. good luck trying to get these guys off your back

They call me 6 to 7 times a day every day. They never say anything and just hang up after i say hello twice.  I called the number back and some lady answered.  I asked her why they keep calling me and hanging up and she hangs up on me.

UGH...this company calls and calls and doesn't leave a message.it's anoying...i've read all your post and i'm gonna block, and put a complaint to the federal trade commission..ftc...thank you. for all the information.

These people are all sickos as far as I'm concerned - I owe no money nor do I have time for these idiots.  I have put all calls on call blocker now except for contacts.  Plus report each scammer as they come in to the FBI IC3 site.  Hope they stop these rude jerks from calling.  Enough is enough.

Keeps calling multiple times a day offering loans - I didn't apply for any.

Call numerous times a day, sometimes as many as 10! And at all hours of the day, from 4am to 9pm. The representative has an Indian accent and offers a payday loan on the voicemails.

My mom did that and she keeps calling me back, and I'm a minor so it is illegal.

Got the same call today... I didnt answer it but per the peeps in here its a scam.  Puttin them on my blocking list.

Block the number from your phone I do it all of the time

This phone number continue to calling me about 2days and the lady's English I totally don't understand so I told her remove my number from your calling list, I am also gonna put this number on my blocking list also.

This number has called my cell several times over the past month. Do not know what company it is.

They called for my husband at 7:15 AM.  The lady sounded like she was totally drunk.  I asked her if she knew what time it was and she said yes.  I told her that she could not call before 8:00 AM rather she was a bill collector or not.  Also, my husband has NEVER had a payday loan (I have years ago but he has not).  Not even sure why they would call him in the first place.  They must just work off from a random list.  When I told the lady I was turning her into the Federal Trade Commission, she immediately hung up.  And yes...I have filed a complaint with the FTC.

I honestly do believe this is a scam for anyone who has payday loans. They have no real liable information about their company, but will help you reduce your payday loan payments if you have a checking account.

I began getting calls yesterday from this number.  I have been inundated with so many calls lately, that I am not answering any I do not recognize.  From all your messages, I will continue to ignore this number as well...I will report to the FCC if I continue to hear from them.  Thanks.   I was told this time of year is busy with all sorts of scams because US residents begin to receive their IRS returns.  Wonderful...

I have been receiving calls from this company for a week or more.  They have hung up on me when I answer, or I get a very rude and demanding idiot on the line.  I asked if they were licensed in my state to do business and they hung up...but didn't stop calling.

This is the rudest company I have talked to regarding not calling my phone number anymore.

This number called me again twice yesterday and once around 8am this morning. When I answered they just hang up. I'm fed up with this. I've just finished filling out a complaint form with the FCC.
