They just called my grandma today, and now my dads house looking for my husband, NOT ME.... I dont get it.

Someone named Justin called my house today saying they were calling about my 1099 form and that I better have my legal representative call them. He also called my sister who lives in another state and left a message asking for me. I am going to file a complaint against this firm because I do not have any outstanding debts and the IRS would call about tax forms not a bogus law firm. I visited their website and this is not a professional law firm.

SAME THING THESE PEOPLE KEEP CALLING ME ABOUT SOME 1099 TAX FORM THEY HAVE CALLED MY WHOLE FAMILY BUT AFTER I TOLD THEM I WAS HAVING MY LAWYER GET WITH THEM A GOOD CHEWING AND I ADVISED THEM THAT MY LAWYER WAS PRESENT THEY HUNG UP THE PHONE.

Same thing..  called my parents with "fraudulant 1099" claim... then me.... but never answered when I called back....  Joesph  ext 1... blah, blah, blah....  Who are these people and where do they get my parents info???

It's illegal for a collection agency to threaten you with a 1099-C form if you don't pay:

I just received a call from this number at my work place, gentlemen told me to call him back with a legal representative. It was regarding a 1099 form. I have never been in any debt or anything that has to do with tax form. How can i stop this people from calling my job?

this number calls my friend and says they need speak to me about fraudulent 1099 ...I dont know what to do to stop them from bothering my family and friends. They never mentioned was a debt just said call back Joseph at ext. 1.....

The problem i have is that they don't even call me or send me written letters of any debt, they only call my family members, they call my elderly parents and tell them that they have fraudulent charges pending and now the newest one is that they told my step-mom that they have me for a fraudulent 1099, what the hell are these people talking about. When my parents don't give any info they keep calling back, which is illegal. Legally they can only call once. Its really hard to find an address for these people so I can send a cease and desist letter but on another web page I found an address of 2912 Delaware Ave, Buffalo NY 14217.
