These calls are extremely bothersome!
I have experienced negative results from these calls.

Hope they will cease before I have to contact the FCC.

Several phone calls... no message

Stupid a***s from  AT&T Uverse keep calling & leave no message.  Their #:  888-419-9409.  Go away and die!  Stop calling!
They should be locked up in jail.  Stupid "Do Not Cal"l List is useless.

After over 5 years, looks like someone has got a hold of this number again.  No info on Caller ID and does not leave a message

It's AT&T.  I pay my bills on time and to be pestered to increase purchase is bad PR.

TAKE NOTICE:  Today, 3/1/14  I got a call from 888-419-9409 as it showed up in my ATT UVERSE on-line call log.  My caller I.D. on my phone read TIME WARNER CABLE, so this is NOT ATT calling.  Also, you can NOT receive a phone call from a "toll free" area code so that alone should also tell you that this incoming call is bogus.

Get these Verse calls 4 times a day at the business I work at and have constantly been told that, unless we sign up, we will experience 'service interuptions' if we don't sign up. Threats? Seriously?!! This is how to get business? This is exactly how to lose business, We spend over $6000.00/ yr with this company and they can't even send somebody to our place of business to discuss anything with us! I have been looking at options than AT&T in ernest. This is no way to treat a customer.

I have cable tv with AT&T received calls from this number they claim to be at&t they ask me if i want to upgrade so i say yes they will offer a premium channel for 6mos at no charge or highspeed internet so i say great they then ask for my 4 digit passcode i say do not know it then they ask for my favorite restaurant i always give them a false name and they accept the false name (scam) then they tell me about my free upgrades and i will receive a email conformation on my upgrades that i never get along with my free upgrades. I have called at&t uverse in the past to add a serivce or remove and they never accept a false password on my account.  I think it is a scam to try to get password

WE have had this call three times today!  Annoying!  So glad we have caller ID so we don't answer.  Anyone know who is calling or how to stop the calls!

You need to write AT&T and send it certified mail (so they can not say they didn't get it)  and tell them this.  And make sure you also say and their affiliates.  If they do not stop, then you go after them.

Dear AT&T,

I've asked that you abstain from calling my home. I'm not interested in your product. I have no desire to own cable or satellite services. I only watch PBS on my TV with a digital antenna that my husband erected. I only desire to watch intellectual programming. The only news that's truthful is The BBC and The PBS Newshour. Bill Moyers and Amy Goodwin are superb journalists on their panel discussions. I have no use for the inferior so-called news programs on cable. Fox is the worst offender. They are law breakers at Fox News.

Furthermore, AT&T, I provided my phone number to one of your telemarketers (Joshua) who promised to delete my home phone number from your caller bank. That was one month ago. I'm still being called. Why?

Please honor my wishes and stopping disturbing me. I'm old and teach piano and organ from my home. Your constant calls are extremely disruptive when I'm giving lessons. I don't want your product.

FYI: I'm on the Federal Do Not Call Registry. AT&T you are violating my privacy.

Receiving countless calls from this number. Very annoying all hours! How can this be stopped?

AT&T and the rest of their competive ilk are desperate to keep their current customers, and desperate to obtain new subscribers. AT&T by and large are the most aggressive in thir push to get new subscribers. Anyone who has had the misfortune of dealing with AT&T's door to door salespeople know what pushy,rude and ignorant cretins they are. None of them know what a NO SOLICITATING sign means!

There's really nothing you can do to stop these noobs from callling you. As long as you have an AT&T account they're going to keep hounding you to buy their U-Verse package. I've told these callers umpteen times that I'm not interested and to remove my number from their caller base. To no avail does this ever work.

All I can do is ignore those jerkoffs.

Called 3:59PM on 8/7.

It would not surprise me if this was AT&T.  They call every few months (and mail stuff at least 2-3 times each week) pushing their UVerse service.

Just look at the title of my message for how AT&T makes ANY money with such an inferior product as U-Verse! You see, since cable companies such as Cox, Time Warner, and Comcast have regional monopolies over cable broadband, in most of these markets, AT&T U-Verse is the ONLY alternative to cable TV and cable Internet. See, when MANY people quit cable-- especially cable Internet-- because of things like skyrocketing cable rates and/or poor service, then they go to AT&T U-Verse, which in most cases is their ONLY alternative to cable, unfortunately.

I used to get frustrated at all the calls I was getting from unknown id name and number.  I was writing letters / emails to anyone I thought could do something about this.  Of course, no one did.  I now don't worry about it anymore. If I don't recognize the number, I don't pick up.  If they don't identify themselves on CID, I don't pick up.  If they don't leave a message, it obviously wasn't important.  I rarely get this type of call any more.  If the government won't act, you can.  In other words, don't react, act.  Don't pick up!

Unverse tring to extend bundle package. They knew a lot about my package but I gave them a wrong password and they did not notice, kept selling. I hung up on them.

(888) 419-9409 called and surprisingly a voicemail was left. It was a guys voice who did not realize he was on voicemail. "Wow, and he never got fired or did he?"  In the background is a female voice saying "hi". I don't know if this was actually AT&T but I know it wasn't the right way to call potential customers.

They have called me almost every day for a week at different times. I just answer and start pressing buttons. It is getting ANNOYING.

Caller ID reads "TOLL FREE CALLE" - I get calls from that name using many numbers - they never leave a message, thus are all blocked using my PC based call blocker.

This is a call from AT&T Uverse sales and these jerkwads will not take NO for an answer. A request to be taken off the list is totally ignored.

Do what I did. Buy a digitone call blocker. IT WORKS! The number is blacklisted now so when they call, the box recognizes them, answers and then hangs up the line. No more nuisance calls from Uverse! They can call but my phone doesn't ring even once. SWEET RELIEF!

ATT is a big sales nuisance. I get several letters weekly for months trying to sell me u vers and bundling pkg.. including phone which has turned commercial and no longer personal calls for us. Now they are phoning too?

I am on the no call list.  Why Why do I get this call over and over

Its AT&T calling about their services, its a robo calling so that why you didnt hear anyone respond when you picked up. If you call back you get a recorded message saying stay on the line to speak with rep.

This # calls repeatedly both early & late. I work odd hours & am sleeping during the hours they call. I don't answer but it wakes me every time. HOW can they be made to STOP (can't even find out who it is thru reverse look-up). I NEVER answer unidentified / toll-free calls.

Called attt 2say they leave no way 2talk 2 a person..they call all the time & never respond to messages 2take me off their list continuing 2call. Can you get me off this list.att&t uverse(the real one)says this is not us.Im very upset/exasperated.Looked online & saw many people are getting the same harassing calls day & night.They're in essence stealing the identity & harming att&t by this impersonation of att &t but they maybe dont care that their customers are being harassed Being on do not call list

I filed a complaint just now with the donot call registry at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx

They said whet they get reports it can lead to police investigating so everyone file a complaint if on the do nto call registry

Also call att and  t uverse complaining, Guy said he never heard this before. Stress to the real att uverse or att and t that you were considering stopping services due to all the harassing calls if you are a customer... might even say you are thinking of filing a lawsuit for harassment and calling the do not call list. Say if it is not you why do you do nothing about it. Maybe it is really you.  

Stress you saw many people online angry at att and t and this impersonation if it is not them harms their company. Follow up with a complaint to do not call registry listing what the call said when you called the number.

If enough people complain, say it said it was att&t and if you do not do something to make it stop you may take legal action and maybe even file phone harassment line and get a record of the unwanted calls so the police might investigate and maybe get the company to stop.

Or find out who is behind this.The squeaky wheel gets the grease so make some noise enmass. Every call to them might help.
