A woman called from this same delivery company with number 866 862 7760 she told me they were based in chicago. She claimed i missed my delivery of a 1.5 ounce pachage from Macys and would have to answr security questions for delivery. She asked where i worked i told her and she told me the answr was incorrect. She then told me the delivery person would be back to deliver the box and never came. Now im trying to phone back the number and the phone number is disconnected. Its a SCAM and really creepy how they have my name and number and address also asking where i work.....

I wouldn't bother calling them.

Man called my work saying this was the contact number given, there was a package not able to be delivered. Also gave my boyfriends name but used my maiden name. Said he was from Nationwide delivery and gave me a tracking number. Call back number given was 888-350-0021. Also called my cell less than an hour later.

This company has tried to reach me several times
I told them I didn't know who the person was
After accidentally answering , they left several messages with a
Tracking number,  and with also  call back number which I never called.

Now they left a message on my daughter's phone
Saying they are trying to contact Me  ..with a package
For delivery. SCARY..
How did they get her number ?

If it's a package why don't they have my address
Like USPS , UPS, or FEDEX
I've Never heard of United Express Delivery

Got same call from lady asked same thing as my name cause they had a package for me that weights 4.5 pounds n they wanted to no the best time to deliver I said any time n it had a security question. Asking me what did I do for work n I did say auto mechanic. Before I could hang up the phone about 1 minute and I mean 1 min. later they called my down stairs neighbor to c did I live there. 888-484-9401 got a call day before when she left a message to call back to 866-862-7760 with tracking number which she left day before. This is making me upset but I did report this to attorney general.

Jeanine, I sent out resumes the day before I started receiving these calls as well.  What's their angle though?  

Called my mother's house then said she was open until 8 and asked me what time is best to deliver my package. I asked for the return address she also said dept store under 2lbs.
Then she asked for my work for the security question, I work for myself so she didn't get what she wanted I guess and said she'd call back. Lol she also asked me the names of people who could've sent this I started to worry and said I don't know!

I got a call like everyone else, I think it has to do with a resume I sent out the day before, and must of emailed it straight into the hands of a scam. Then a call the next day saying I have a package they are trying to deliver to me and I needed to answer the security question which was My work, I said I don't know, so she said she would change the verification, to my birthday, feeling comfortable with the well educated nice person on the phone I did. Right after I got off the phone, 10 min later my husband called and asked if I told a lady to call him about work, she said I personally told her to call him, I said I don't ever give out your number or my name to someone with out informing him first, he blew her off because it was all just weird and out of the ordinary, then I found all these other people on sites that had the same thing happen, I also put in a report to the FTC and believe it all came from a resume scam, because I have tried to find the job postings on craigslist, and it was gone. I knew yest I sent my resume to a scam, when I started coming across the same email for different jobs, and now all those jobs are gone, I didn't make the connect until my husband called and I found these posting and we tried to figure out how it all started and it was when I sent my resume.

I missed a call & received a confirmation # for a package to be delivered to me. I hadn't ordered anything & found it strange. A few days later I received a call with a woman telling me that the package could be delivered to my home within an hour. Of course I was asked personal information because this package was a "gift" that weighs about 3 pounds. I asked where it was from and the caller said she didn't want to ruin the surprise. As you can see above, I've hyphenated my name because this package was coming to me as Kimberly Dias and I was married 4 years ago to the man I've been with for 28+ years and anyone who's been in my life, either personal or business, knows my last name is Richard. If you're reading this, United Express Delivery, thanks for the speedy delivery.

This number called a family members ex to get in touch with me left a tracking number and phone number to call back. I called gave them tracking number and they said they had a package for me and that it said it was a birthday gift (my bday is coming up soon by way) and they said there was a security question and that it is the place I work so I gave both pt jobs names that I have and they said that wasn't it. So I told them I have no clue, they verified my address they gave me my address I didn't give it to them. They said they would deliver the package tomorrow but I needed to know the answer to the security question I told them I am sorry I had no clue what it would be. The person said she would talk with her supervisor and see if they can just send it without but then wanted to know if it would be the location that I worked by some chance I said no I will talk with family and see if someone actually is trying to send me something. And I hung up......believe it is a scam scam scam or bill collector trying to get my info. Not sure but watch out!!!

I Never Ordered Anything? From A Department Store? She Asked Me A Question? Lilly's Work? I Said Hugh! Since I Don't Work? She Said They Will Be Delivering It Today? I Wonder Why People Do This?? I Just Don't Get This? They Even Gave Me A Tracking Number??? This Is RIDICULOUS!!!!! Are They Serious???

By any chance, is anybody on this forum being harassed by debt collector or being sued?? Wondering if there is a common link.

I just got this sdame exact message, and I was confused because I too did not order anything.

I received a call today from United Express Delivery from 888-720-9628, they said that they had a package for me, but no one was home to sign for it.  I asked who it was from, they said a family member of mines name.  They also called my work right after my cell phone number.  I wouldn't verify my address because this call seemed strange, they said that they would redeliver and I said fine.  No package was ever delivered.  I called the number back and got a recording of United Express Delivery, but after a couple of hours I tried the number again and it has been disconnected. Strange!! Not sure what they were up to, but def not anything good.

Got the same call today. But they were looking for my ex wife. Had her address. said they had a package for her. told them I was not with her, would have to leave a message for her. Same as the rest. package less then 2 lbs. Was supposed to be delivered by 3:00. Has never arrived. They need to get a life.

Got a call on Friday that I missed.  Called me back on Monday.  No package has ever arrived.

Just got same call, b*****ds don't they have anything better to do.  Definataly a scam, wish they would call back, I got some questions for them.

This number called my cell phone today and called my daugher's cell phone (which she lives 150 miles away).  Also said that they had a small package to deliver and needed a good time to deliver it.  They asked my daughter for the answer to the 'Security Question" which was "Where do I work?"  She told them and they said that the answer she gave was not a match.  Very strange how they would get my daughter's phone number.  The call back number that they gave me was 888-420-9628 but the call came from 855-856-3826.

Got a call from this number stating they had a package to deliver and needed a security code. When I stated that I did not have a security code, they stated the security code is where I currently work. Does anyone know who is this company???

Got a message, leaving 888-420-9628, United Express Delivery, tracking number 451527.  The next day, answered the call. SHE said i had a small box to be delivered, not sure who from... The driver said there was water damage on the label (not the box).  But there was a security question - what was my current job.  None of my answers were right...? Then she said she could go with my cell phone... I had that one right.  

NO PACKAGE, NO CORRECT PHONE # TO CALL BACK.  

Do I need to be afraid?

Got same call from 888 number. with tracking number and all. called back several times and finally a woman called back from a 323-410-2829 number. told me I had a 1.8 oz package and it was insured. I told her wasn't exe front n e thing but it was just my bday a couple wks ago so maybe late present. she said drivers in my area and would be here within an hour. 6 hrs later still waiting. these people need to get a real job and stop bring thieves. think its time to go to local news station. these people harass me all the time.

SEVERAL PHONE MESSAGES TO SEVERAL FAMILY MEMBERS WITH THE SAME 888-420-9628 NUMBER STATING THEY HAVE A PACKAGE THAT HAS WATER DAMAGE AND MUST BE DEIVERED ONLY TO MY DAUGHTER.

888 NUMBER IS UNLISTED AND THE COMPANY CAN NOT BE FOUND ON GOOGLE.

I received this call today.  Called my cell phone, work number AND my parents!  I answered my work phone and she said I had a package they were trying to deliver. The driver had been there earlier but was unsure if he should leave it.  I asked what it was and he said all she knew was it said a belated birthday gift.  My birthday was just a couple weeks ago!!!  Scary how much information they have. Has anyone bought things online around the time they received the calls?  I have from a couple places out of the norm but none that would've related.

I got the same thing today and I am very nervous they said the package came from a family member but had water damage so they could only read the last name which was my madien name. Then asKed where I worked for security question. I have been disabled for 5 years and all of my family know that.

this also happend to me about 5 years ago. and they recently called me agin. BIG SCAM!!!

got the same kind of call today. they called an old employee and asked me all kinds of questions. i am sure it is a scam. they did get my former employees from me as well as my birthdate. i've been screwed.

I work at a company called United Express Delivery - NO CONNECTION to this scam. I have received a few calls from people who are receiving these scam calls asking to track a package. They are local to the area and found us online. I can say as a person in the delivery field DO NOT give out any more personal info. It seems to be an idenity  stealing scam. THe one lady I talked to said they asked for date of birth and that would be used as her pin number for the driver, this would NEVER happen with a real delivery company.
