It doesnt suprise me that these guys are phishing for account #'s, what did suprise me is that when i called the police and my call carrier they told me there is nothing they can do!  Be careful!

The call is from Blue Green Resort (time-share promotions)

Blue Green marketing may be related to the BlueGreen resort company, that sells timeshares and offers discounted trips to DisneyWorld, in trade for a few minutes of your time in a timeshare presentation.  

Friendly, not too pushy, but not scammers, in my opinion.

Call from someone who identified himself as Norman Carlton, I.D. #5709, calling from "Blue Green Marketing," open from 9:00 - 3:00 EST.

Don't know what this is all about.  When I've answered the phone no one is there and if they leave a message there is nothing.

I received calls from this number stating that a debit card i used was declined and that it was theft by defeat and would be served by their legal department. c'mon really, if my debit card was decline, I would not be able to make a purchase therefore, i don't owe anything. The scary part, they called me on my cell, my work phone and my home phone and knew my full name....... This is not a telemarketer, this is scary they knew how to locate me.
watch out for this number and what they are trying to pull.

Then you know for sure that this is an abusive telemarketer or a scammer trying to part you from your $money.

I'm registered on the 'do not call list' and still get several calls from this number.

I know exactly why I'm being called.  I should have know better, but I signed up for a drawing at a Home and Garden Show.  The dwg was supposed to be for a $500.00 WalMart card.  But, it's a trick to get your phone number so they can sell you their timeshare vacation plans.

Continues to call me at least once a week, all hours, never leaves message.  Just annoying. I am on the do not call list, but may have filled something out at a show.

Keep calling

Repeatedly get dead air calls from this number.  Called back to try to find out who it was.  Combative and nasty doesn't even begin to describe the person who answered my call.  I have filed a complaint with the FCC.  Next time they call, I'll try to save their souls.

5 calls from this number.  Awful, combative, obviously horribly unhappy people working these phone lines. I asked to be taken off of the call list and the poor woman on the other line wanted to spend her time arguing with me about why she was calling, because I had signed up for them to call she says, instead of just moving on.  She must be yelled at a lot, because she had her defense argument down.  Anyway, I told her that her job was to listen to me and not call anymore, once she confirmed I wouldn't get another call, but wanted to keep talking about why I was being called, I just hung up.

These people are sad and pathetic. I feel bad that this is their job, but they know they have to be ready for ugly reactions to the incessant calling.

I finally answered after receiving a call every other day for a couple of weeks.  I was told that I had won a Florida vacation in a raffle from a motorcycle expo I had been to.  The lady got very annoyed when I repeatedly told her I did not sign up for a raffle.  She told me to look up a website... I believe it was Blue Mountain something.  I hung up on her.

Same thing here.  Keep calling, don't leave a message and I am on the DNC list also.  I guess the DNC list with the gov't doesn't work.  Very annoying and to me a form of harassment.  They have been calling for at least the past few months weekly or more than weekly.

Keep calling my cell and never leave a message - no idea why they are calling me, but I won't ever answer an 800 number so they might as well stop.

Just received the same sort of call and I never filled out anything.  You can't get rid of these people they just try to go on and on.  How do you stop this?

called "we hours of the morning" today (on my cell phone) and left message saying "you have won a wonderful opportunity for a free vacation.....BLah .....blah...blah...I did not sign up for crap...SOOO must be a scam. What happened to signing up for no solis...calls?
