Same thing as everyone else!!  They first called me in July, stating they had my info regarding a bad pay day/loan point loan. They said I never finished paying, and were taking legal action.  I asked them to send me info regarding this as proof, said they would email me, never did.  Felt I was rid of these scammers, until Sept, when out to lunch with my mom and sister, they called my mom's cell phone, and she handed the phone over to me (cell phone bill is in my name, that is how they got her number), and said they were going to serve me, and prepare to be possibly be arrested.  I was so upset, that I thought I must have owed money from this loan I took back in 2008.  I had to stop payments back then because they kept debiting my account, and definitely took more than they should have, but thought I somehow, owed interest.  It's been so long, that I just panicked and set up payments to avoid having my former employer and family being harassed.  I realized tonight, after calling that number pretending to need their address, and the man on the other end who answered as "USC" asked me "why?" I told him that I needed it to send in a payment.  He said, "We don't take payments by mail, only over the phone." and proceeded to tell me that they were a mediation law firm.  Then he asked me who I was and I said, "I just need to know where you are located," he then said "Yeah right" and hung up on me.  I knew right then and there that this was a scammer.  I canceled the payments through my bank, and will be calling the atty. general in the morning.  What a lesson learned here!!!

also received call at work and at home from this company with a case # against me for a old payday
loan, they  called my employer and wanted to know how to go about serving papers to me, also gave my employer the case #.  I like a fool got scared and gave them my information and set up payment arrangements.
so I am assuming that I now need to look into this and report it to the attorney general and other
agencies.
I am wondering if I would be able to go after the original payday loan company also, as according to my
state laws, payday loans are illegal and I have already overpaid them before I stopped payments to them.

Call from Ashley stating I was being served over a pay day loan from 2008 which had no idea what they were taking about. Would not provide any of their info , told them I am at work come serve me. It's a scam!!!

Be Careful everyone, i got calls from the same number, a Phillip Gates, and some others, i've done research on this company that does not exist! I asked them to provide me with a website, an address or anything proving they were a real company. They said they don't have a website, then gave me A PO BOX!!! I asked if they have a physical address and he said no. He said i had a warrant out for my arrest when i have recieved NO legal documents, Then i called the place i had taken the loan out on, and they gave the number of the company they sent my debt to, and it wasnt' United Legal Group!!! I reported the to the Federal Trade Commission and told them i knew they were frauds and to stop calling me, and they guy said "Uh, Okay" and hung up. So if they call you, get as much information on them as you can so you have something to give the authorities. THEY ARE FRAUDS< they already got $125 from me. If anyone else calls you in the future, GET PROOF, if they're legit, they can mail you some sort of proof.

A guy named philip gates keeps calling me, saying much the same things he's saying to all of you, he was calling all of my family and friends saying i had a warrant for failure to appear, but never recieved any summons, notifications or anything. I guess that should have thrown up a red flag, but i am young and nieve.... When they first called i thought it was legit, so i made a partial payment, now i'm reading all this, a guess i got dooped. I am waiting for him to call so i can interrogate him.....

I got the same  voice message today at my job and they gave me a case # and said i have been offically contacted and i need to call the plaintiff at 888-428-5922 regarding a check issue.  I don't have a checking account and the only thing i can think of is its a pay day loan I did online....and they said they are set to come out to my job in 2 hours.  My thought was to do what, they can't get in and even still i have no idea what they are talking about.

I have also been told once before they had a warrent for my arrest, I told them for what, what are my charges, they said an unpaid loan, i told them well first i have to be able to go to court and fight it and if i end up having to pay it, i am allowed so much time to do so or make arrangements but to go to jail for an unpaid pay day loan.....nah....i told them to try someone else on that.   This happen about 4 months ago.

Someone called from this number named Myron, called my 77 year old double amputee father who lives out of state and scared him half to death telling him I was going to jail. I called this clown this morning and he stated it was a payday loan debt from 2008, I have no knowledge of this when I began asking them to stop contacting me and my family members it got heated and ugly and I was hung up on; I called back and this control freak of a clown stated to me "now that's a better tone" WTF! I'm going to find out where United is located and report them to the State Attorney General's Office for using illegal collection practices ASAP. Coward &^%$$#!

THEY KEEP CALLING ME AT WORK SAYING THAT THEY ARE GOING TO SERVE ME FOR A COURT SUMMONS AND GAVE A CASE # TO MY EMPLOYER .

they are a debt collector.  called about an old pay day loan.  filed bankruptcy and said that they are pressing charges yet the debt has been discharged.  offered to take a settlement.  told them to pound sand.

I have received two calls from this number and they have somehow gotten the number of my friends and family. It is clear they have somehow hacked my google account and are calling numbers from there.

Called my number and I told them I wanted proof which I have yet to receive but they still call me. They also called my boyfriend telling him I did some fraud and would be going to jail!
