called and left no company name - just said I NEED to call them back.
I have not, but I see they call me almost everyday.  They did reference a tradeshow.

Any messages claiming they had a good experience with IEA are the scammers trying to doop more people into it.  We lost $2366, but now they are a little smartter, they tell you they are trying to get your money back so you don't file a BBB complaint or until the 60 day waiting period to get your money back from the credit card company.  These people are 100% USDA Scammers.

Iea event planning is a complete scam. They are now known as XMC hotels. They have the same physical address as IEA Event Planning. I mean come on now..they cant do better than that. Do not ever book anything with this company...or any of their fraudulent companies. They don't book your rooms, they steal your money, and they don't give refunds like promised.

Sad to say your working for a scam, they dont pay there employees, they steal your identity if there not a scam why have they gone through four different company name within the past two years? hmmmmm, i have researched this company after having called and called about my refunds only to get the run around. sleep well scum because ive talked with other travelers about the same experienes and were getting ready to get you guys.

believe the people who say IEA are scammers.  John Yzaguirre contacted me & had discount rooms in Orlando for the 2010 PGA show in January.  The night before we were to fly there I called the hotel I was supposedly booked at so I could ask about shuttle service to the convention center.  thank God i called because there was no reservation at all.  we scrambled & found & paid for a different hotel.  then started the nightmare of trying to reach these idiots & finally I spoke with Michael who gave me a BS excuse & said they would refund & he would confirm by email.   Never got an email & he dodged every call since.  funny thing is that in Dec. I called & spoke to Chambree to discuss my reservation & she acted like everything was fine when there was no reservation at all.  So it's a company full of losers, all out to scam you.   I'm sure they book the occassional room for people but from all the comments here it seems they screw people more than help them.

The AG can not do anything - I just called them and the BBB and the FCC!!!  You have to call the FTC - phone number at 877-382-4357

Rita all of your money has been 100 percent refunded.  There was an overbooking situation at this hotel which was beyond anyone's control.  All of the guests were re-protected at a nearby hotel. IEA regrets any inconvenience you experienced and has processed a full refund back to your American Express Credit Card.  A Copy of the Refund Receipt has been sent to your via e-mail.  Please call our Customer Service Department with any additional questions.

EVERYONE who has been ripped off needs to contact the attorney general of Nevada by opening the link above.  This company has STILL not refunded my client $3000. Majedline and Chambree have both promised immediate refunds over a month ago. My client has also opened up a fraud investigation with American Express.  

This is NOT a legitimate company....they are crooks. DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH THEM.

I have had the best deals with  IEA so far...

Complete and utter SCAM.  Our company lost almost $1300.  Our story is the same as everyone else out there.  They solicited our business with a phone call.  My boss decided to try them out for some hotel rooms we needed for an upcoming conference.  However, my company is no longer attending the conference, so I called IEA to cancel the rooms.  They said I had to send an e-mail with my cancellation information, as they couldn?t cancel anything over the phone.  I thought that sounded incredibly fishy, so I contacted the hotel directly to see if we even had reservations made.  Of course, they didn?t have anything in their system under our names.  I began searching IEA on the internet and found nothing but similar scam stories that IEA has pulled on other companies.  Now we?re out $1300.  It?s incredibly unfortunate that there are people in this world that stoop to this kind of level to make money.  How sad.

My company used IEA for the first time this January.I was glad to say everything worked out beautifully. Had i read these comments before i  probaby would not have done buisness with them. The truth is my agent did a great job to keep me updated and even fallowed up with me aftwerwards. Thank you.

I recieve a call from Chambree Frazier in May of 2009.  I was told IEA had been contracted by the NBAA organization (of which I am a member) to book hotel rooms for an upcomning convention.  I booked through them and was sent confirmation.  I arrived at the hotel months later to find out that IEA never transfered funds and I would be responsible for charges.  After doing research, the NBAA organization never heard of them not did they contrct with them.  IEA farms convention list and falsely represents themselves to scam people out of money.  After calling IEA multiple times I finally got through to a Marie.  She refused to give me here last name and told me no one there was authorized to speak directly to customers.  I would have to email.  Guess what?  No response.  IEA are just common criminals.  I sincerely hope that we can take them down for fraud.  I am going through the Nevada Chamber of Commerce and the South Nevada BBB.  We lost almost $800.  The problem with these forums is anyone can get on.  Any person who has anything positive to says about IEA is one of the IEA theifs trying to conn you.  And if you are an IEA rep and you're reading this I hope you sleep good at night knowing you're the scum of the earth... a petty crook.

yes..but they changed phone #'s and business name. They changed their name to IEA event planning...same scam.  From what I understand(google IEA event planning) and you will see TONS of people that are getting ripped off by this company. They operate the same way. Promise hotel rooms..take your CC for payment in full up front..and don't book a thing. It is a warning to all who book shows. Do not book with anyone but the hotel directly, or the housing bureau who is hosting the show. Canon and Devicelink, and Experient are the three biggies that come to mind as  reputable booking sources.

This company went out of business last year.  This phone number now belongs to another company in an entirely different industry.

Sorry Dave..my client was just taken for a $3000 ride. Nigel solicted my client directly to book rooms for Lab Automation in Palm Springs. Client booked 5 rooms and paid them in full OCTOBER 2. December 18, my client receives a phone call from IEA stating the rooms are not booked, and would they settle for a lesser quality hotel room?..Client said NO and please refund the money (they went direction to LAb Automation and booked their rooms instead).  After being promised the $$ would be refund, my client is still waiting.  There are maybe one or two positive posts about this company,the rest have stories just like my client.  If you have a contact there with IEA, please post it because my client wants their money back.
