Continues to call but never leaves message. Have reported them twice before but no respond

Somebody from this number 888-434-8508 keeps calling my cell phone; leaves no message; very annoying

They call many times and hang up - finally they stayed on the line and wanted to verify our free yellow pages online ad - yellowpages.ca

Yellow Pages calling to update their free listings (supposedly) . It is still telemarketing because they are calling a private number asking a zillion questions trying to get all of your other contacts, personal and financial information. Caller was too persistent to just be updating the free listing. I have received several calls from them to a point of harassment at least 20 calls in the last couple months..annoying!

Call from Yellow Pages trying to get us to signup for advertising.  I think they discovered our website based on the very long business name they read to us, which was the business name and what we do combined together...  Hint to YP: Do some research before you make your calls.  You sounded very unprepared.

i got the call and the agent identified themselves as a Yellow Pages rep.
They asked about my business, confirmed phone number and address.. they didnt ask for any info that isnt already public, and they asked for my website and email..
i was waiting for the agent to spin the convo into a sale, but they didn't ! in fact she just asked the percentage of revenue i spend on advertising, i told her and she pretty much thanked me for my time and said that they will follow up in a year to confrm that the info is still accurate..

overall i wouldnt say it was telemarketing because they were just updating their listing, which is free so free is good. the entire call was 4 minutes

The first time my phone rang from this number, no one was on the other end, so bot dialing, but I called back and got yellow pages but didn't stay on hold to talk to them.
The second time they called, there actually was someone there. He said they were calling all numbers of registered businesses to update the free listing. Which was interesting because I didn't know I had a free listing AND altho' I run a business from my home, my number is only listed as my personal number. When I asked him about this he said that they get a listing of all registered business numbers from the CANADIAN GOVERNMENT. Which is still not possible, since they don't have my number as a business number. So someone is lying here. I told him NOT to list it because I think they might be selling the list.

Just got a call from that number and I phoned it back.Yes it is the Yellow pages and if you ask nicely they will remove your number from their list.My home phone number used to belong to a business that is why it happens.Stupid computers have not been updated yet.

I received a call from this number on Feb 2nd,2011 and when I answered nobody was there.  I called the number back and it was yellow pages calling.
