I received a phone call  at my home, where  a  Tracey left me a message , she said that there had been charges filed against me and that I was to be summoned to court.  She said that she would deliver the  papers to me that afternoon.  She then gave me a number to call and the case number.  She has never shown up at my home.    I checked the laws and summons are to be delivered in person to the person being sued.
