I also got a msg from John Martin, from Business Development office. Also claiming that the Cleveland Clinic was expanding and were looking for  for PA-Cs in "My area". I was amazed at the salary and benefits.  I called 773-509-4972 and the message said hi this is "john", no last name, and I figured out it was a scam.
I HOPE KARMA COMES BACK AND BITES YOU IN THE A**!!

Someone name John Martin also left a voicemail just now regarding cleveland clinic expansion. Benefits/salary seemed way too fishy for a PT job..The same guy had called me 3 years ago claming the exact job offer. His number was blocked but told me to reach him at 773 509 4972

i too received similar phone calls and emails from a guy named john martin claiming the cleveland clinic was expanding in the TN region. Also from msn.com emails and on my cell it states 'restricted'. What in the world. I'll be reporting this to the actual cleveland clinic to catch these scammers. Way too fishy, they are upto something....

First I received calls from Dan Williams claiming that Mayo Clinic was opening 12 facilities in the Columbia, SC area and that they needed physical therapists and OTs/SLPs.  He referred me to speak with Dr. Patrick Shaughnessey for more details about plans for this new local operation.  Dr. Shaughnessey was supposedly away in Europe doing seminars, so I was then referred to Dr. Sam Weston.  Weston claimed to speak to or meet with someone official who said Mayo Clinic's plans for development in this area were delayed due to the economy, but he might be able to find something in my area..... Then he claimed that just by chance, he did have a connection for an opportunity in this area.  I told him no thanks, then I got an email from Anthony Medina who was supposedly about to open an outpatient clinic nearby and needed PTs and PTAs.  Included this number in the email, asking me to call back at 888-259-9166.

Way too fishy.  These people also referred me to their "administrative assistant," Jenna Wade.  Supposedly the so-called administrative assistant for Mayo Clinic uses an MSN email for some reason, instead of a real Mayo Clinic email.  Do not trust emails about great job opportunities from JW_8888@MSN.com.
Other numbers provided in this scam are: 888-439-8388 and 651-649-4427.
