I already pd on bill online and a few moment later, I get a text to pay my verizon bill because it's past due.  I went back online to make sure my payment was recorded and it was!!!    It's asking me to click on the link that it text to me and "yea right!!"  like I'm gonna click on something that doesn't spell out verizon....

They called 3 times and left a message the last time. They said they were Verizon and  to call this number for important information about my Verizon account. I called #611 Verizon and they said that was NOT their number and they had no reason to call me.

Received a call from 541-588-6005. They left a voicemail on our cell phone saying they were from Verizon and that they were calling about our account.  They asked us to call back 888-440-2949. Confirmed with Verizon these numbers are NOT Verizon representatives.

Stated there was a change in my account.  when asked need billing history they needed to connect me with financial services.  the real verizon wireless stated fraud call.  Do not give them any information!

Received a call from an 801-528-3025 telling me to call back at the 888 number.  NEVER ONCE has Verizon called me from this number, even if they did need to get in contact with me.  Don't answer and make sure to report these guys.

The message says the number to call is 1-1-888-440-2949 which is international.  So I knew it was bogus.  Thought I'd search the net and add a post.  They've left several messages on our home machine.

This number is always calling me and the caller ID says it's from Verizon.  They will leave a message saying they have been trying repeatedly to contact "my name" and that I need to call them.  I do not call them but I call Verizon instead and they say they have NO reason to be calling me.  I figured that was the case because if they were trying to contact me, why aren't they calling my cell phone?????

I keep getting this call so I call verizon directly and they say they have no reason to contact me.  They even say my name and all... What low lifes.

858-240-2703 this is a fraud number?? This number is call my phone so much

Got a call from supoosedly from Verizon wireless telling me that my payment was past due and if I didn't give them my credit information my phone service would be canceled today.

They then for told me to call 888-440-2949.  Knowing that I was not late in my payment I decided to google the  number.

Got a voice mail message on my phone indicating that there is important information on my Verizon account. Didn't recognize the number when they called. They gave the above number to call.

THESE NUMBERS ARE FRAUD . I JUST SPOKE TO VERIZON.

2. 972-655-5210 CLAIMS TO BE VERIZON AND IS NOT
3.888-440-2949 NOT VERIZON DO NOT ANSWER HAVE NUMBER BLOCKED
4. 949-286-3973 HAVE ALL THESE NUMBERS BLOCKED THEY ARE NOT VERIZON

Left a automated message saying they were Verizon and that there is a change to my account.  Caller ID shows a totally different number.

caller ID shows this number. Calls have occurred over the past week, sometimes twice in the same day, extended business hours. Never leaves messages. So, I never try to answer, which is by far the best way to handle such calls. Leave 'em ringing.

well i have reported the number to verizon and it is not from them so that person should be caught soon i hope no one gave out there info
they called me from a 805 area code so beware

Receives calls on house phone and cellphone from machine claiming to be verizonwireless, sometimes the name Jeff Brown pops up and it's always a different callback number, whoever these people are they need to stop harassing people, verizon do not work that way. And to Jeff Brown ,I know you are calling from your home phone so get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
