Your tax dollars??? What? Lmao

I got a voicemail from this number telling me to call to claim my free $40 gift card.  I did not call, as I know if something is too good to be true, and nothing is free!  A few weeks prior to that, I got the same voicemail from the number 888-440-6393.

I just got the call, I hate scams! I love that my tax dollars probably feed these a***s!

I received a call from 602-357-0723 and it went to voice mail. The message was from a recorded male voice stated that I had won a free $40 Visa Gift card and to call 888-440-9376 to obtain my giftcard. They did not identify the company they were with or how I won the card. They did not use my name either. I did not call the 888 number because it seemed fishy.

just got this call from a san rafeal number.  the message wanted me to call back for $40 gift card.  thanks to you all, i wont bother.  thanks!

Hi all. Probably a scammer who is bored with his/her life with nothing better to do than to call you. I have now submitted their phone number to attorney general here in Texas to further investigate these harassing phone calls. They always hang up without leaving any message

SCAMMERS!!!! This is a psychic scam from a Texas psychic. BEWARE folks!! These dispicable people always prey on the elderly, who are at their lowest point in life and are very lonely. These psychic scammers love to scam you and line their pockets with your hard earned money. Stay away from these psychic freaks folks and spend your money on something that will make others happy or buy yourself something nice for a change.

I received the voice mail and asked me to call back at 880-440-9376 to claim $40 gift card. Fortnately i got to know this is a freak deal. I wanted to block it.

I got the same call and they asked my first name.... don't know how they got number cell phone number, but when I asked how they got my name, the line went silent.  I called back and a recording said "bye" each time I called it.

Got a call a local number asking me to call the 18884409376 saying I had participated in an online survey and won $40 visa card. I call the number and they want to email me telling me about the card. the email they read was my sisters so apparently my sister has been using my cell phone for online surveys. Not COOL! I smell scam

I got a call from the same # saying I won a $40 visa gift card, so I called back, took awhile to speak with someone but about 2 weeks later I got my gift card in the mail! I was so excited, walmart owns it now lol :)

Got same call you have won a 40.00 visa card.  When I call back they say they dont recognize the number.  SCAM

I would like to know how they got my number and email address.  Makes me want to watch my bank account too incase they find that out somehow. Very disconcerning.

This number called me leaving a message that If I wanted to claim a $40 Visa Gift Card, I had to call them back. I did not.

Has anyone actually called the 888-440-9376 and actually gotten the $40.00 gift visa card??  I sure could use the money but I don't have money to spend to get money!!

I am on the Do Not Call Registry and still received a call from 703-972-9717 telling me that I had had been selected to receive a $40 FREE VISA card and that I should call them back at 888-440-9376.  I am sick of this and cannot keep listing different numbers on the registry.  My minutes in my phone plan are counted even when it is a toll free number.  I do not want these call and I do not want to pay $1 for any trials!  FREE IS FREE-----NOT $1

Got a call from 254-304-7974 saying that I wond a $40.00 visa gift card and I called it back and it was an automated voice telling me to enter a phone number that I called on.  Then I was hung up on.  Do not think this is legit.

I recieved a call from 817-330-9912, they left an automated V-mail stating to call back at 888-440-9376.  Its odd how that I recieved this call when my cell number is registered on the Do Not Call register.  Thanks for the tips everyone!

Voicemail from: (910) 208-0419 at 1:23 PM 12/9/11 said something like:
'So, give us a call toll free. At (888) 440-9376. Yeah again to claim your 40 dollar visa gift card, call us back. At (888) 440-9376. Thank you and goodbye. '

I called the 910 number and was told to 'press 1 for a representative' and '3 to be removed.' I pressed neighter and hung up.

I called the 888 number from my the same phone but with my caller ID blocked and was told to unblock the number or call back from the same number with which I had registerred.

I got a call stating I won a $40. gift card and to get the card I had to call this 888 number.  I called the number a young lady answered sound like she was struggling to answer the phone, she asked me can I hold while she update her computer.  I waited then the phone went dead.  I tried calling back and keep getting a recording saying goodbye over and over.  People don't have nothing else better to do with their time then to scam honest, hard working people.  Wish they get a life.

Got the same message from "Steven" thanksing me for participating in an online "Average American" survey. I did no such thing! Caller ID was from FLTCHELENA OH. Looked it up on White Pages and it's a mobile phone from Springfield, Ohio (my state). I won't call them back

This is a tella markeeter. When I called back it said to put in my phone # & when I did they said it was not rejistered with them. This # left me a voice mail stating I won a $40.00 gift card. Scam Scam Scam

And I forgot to add the same people called my cell phone from 423-424-0865 which is a local number in my stste...but I blocked it too!

The same as all y'all...call back from number you was called on, can't get through, they left the message about some bull**** gift card...I got them blocked now

Got a call no name just that i won a $40 visa gift card.  not calling it back!

same thing here...didnt recognize the number i was calling from and they hung up. thank you magic jack,they dont seem to recognize calls from an MJ phone
