I got these jokers asking me a quote for my bridal makeup services in an email. Right. Used my wedding site to send me a message - like I'm going to drive to some address in the Smoky mountains - about 16 hours away btw - i hate these a**les - they are bottom feeders.

I have never done business with Chase for anything. I am not sure how they got my number as it is a cell phone and I have had the number for over 7 years.

Call the number back, say 'Operator' and demand to be transferred to the executive dept, open a complaint. If the operator won't transfer you, start yelling, you'll get transferred quick enough.

I received my first call from this number and could not understand the man's name but he was pretty clear when asking about my ex-husband. We have been divorced for over 24 years and I told the caller that I have no information on him. The caller then told me he was with Chase and I was listed as my ex-husband's contact. I told him I was sorry but I could not help him and hung up. I hope he doesn't continue to call me!!!!

They've called me throughout the fall. I keep telling them that the person they are after is not me. I don't have a wife named Mary either. They want my SS number. I refuse. They get nasty. They stopped for awhile, but around Christmas they've started again.

Never give your SSN to somebody that calls you! It could be anybody. If you do have to do business with them, tell them that you feel uncomfortable giving them that information. Ask for their number and you will call back with the information. If they refuse to give you their number then it is a SCAM!
A bank or lender will NEVER call and ask you for your personal information. Think about it, why ask for information that they already should have.

this is Chase Mortgage - these folks are awful - I tried to pay them but they just kept hassling me for updated information - despite the fact that I used my same bank information the lady kept me on the phone for 21 minutes and charged me $20 for the "service" fee - (after giving my loan number, my ssn, the original loan amount, the last payment amount, etc, etc. they interrogated me about my phone number, mail address, why I was late, whether there was a first mortgage, whether I could make the next payment on time, etc, etc.) - they call repeatedly from this and unknown numbers, they leave messages to call back their extension and then cannot be reached and any attempt to pay over the internet or to just pay by phone is thwarted and I can see from the thread that they sit on the checks you mail so they can charge late fees

I am wondering if this is a "follow-up" call from another number who was calling me regarding collections on a person NOT EVEN connected to my cell phone number. How they even got my number in the first place I will never know. I have had the same number for quite a while. I saw an 888 number and just hit the "ignore" button.

Some guy who could barely be understood called and left a message. Yes, a bill collector from Chase Mortgage. We already explained that the mortgage would be caught up today and scheduled the full payment. These collectors are just hoping they can get credit for the payment by being the last one to speak to the payer! Doesn't matter how many times you tell them your story...they will keep calling because the law allows them to leave one message or to speak to someone once each day. While toll free numbers can NOT be used for making outgoing calls, that's what they are allowed to list in their caller id.
