Very agressive on the phone, refused to give me any information about his company. He insisted in getting my social security number. The last thing when I refused to inform my social untill I got more information about his company, he said that I was denied and said to NOT call back.
Very umprofessional company to deal with. If the sales is like that. Imagine the rest of the company.

WOW!  Am I glad I found this site and posts.  I was just about to sign up with "Affordable Health Care."  That's the name they used with me.  I knew it sounded to good tom be true.  Here's their form:

Nice guy but no info given and I felt pressured to complete transaction by end of day Thursday June 25, 2009 when the fax said enrollment ends Friday June 26, 2009 (first BS Flag raised).

2.  The fax info sent about rates and coverage did not identify the insurance company doing the coverage.

3. They only needed my SSN, not my family's even though they were being covered.

4. Here's some juicy info for you all. Claimed to be a broker and not an agent so he couldn't advocate a particular insurance company, but the coverage would be through Nationwide.

5. He also referred me to www.beechstreet.com for more information. No phone contact numbers listed on entire site. Got this number from some bogus online brochure (800-BEECH.ST or 800-233-2478). It is a series of press this number if you are a provider, customer, etc and then it goes dead. I spent 45 min going through each menu option (used a tree diagram to ensure none were missed) and got no one.

Keep your money in your pocket folks. Health care is expensive, but fraud costs more.

Everytime they pick up the phone (which occurs even when you hear a pre-recorder message), they have to reimburse the pay-phone company more than $0.50.

It's very gratifying to know that they have to pay for hearing your complaints.

I hope you got your money back. The best way I have found is to do it in writting and cc your State Department of Insurance as well as your state legislator. Be persistant and don't let them get away with it.  They count on people thinking that its just too big of a hassel to continue trying to get their money back.

I was dumb enough to get it its not an insurance AT ALL!!! They don't tell you any of this before you sign up (which it costs $325 but im getting all my money back b/c everything was a lie and I called) You pay $200 a month its not an insurance they give u a discount card for your prescriptions which is useless the one that Rite Aid gave me FOR FREE gives me a bigger discount than they do.  You only get 6 visits a year.  The specialist doctor I asked "do you cover mammograms" and they said yes.. They only cover $50 of the visit so of course they cover it b/c they know that they won't have to pay for it b/c you pay the difference anything over the $50.. I am going to report them as soon as I get my money.  This isn't right!! Im so angry with myself for thinking it was real...

I asked him to give me information on his company. He refused saying that he needed my social first before he know wich company would approve me for health care.
Without a question this is a 100% scam.
Do not release information for these people.

Faxes from (888)441-5269 keeps coming in. They won't identify themselves, won't provide any information, and demanded for my information "because
enrollment ends now!" When you ask for more clarification, they rudely respond with "don't call back again." DEFINITELY A SCAM!

They keep sending us a fax every morning.  We are tired of it!

WOW... they are at it again.... a new number...yes, they change numbers more often than a farmer changes jeans.  FCC and FTC will not do anything, they keep rejecting my complaints saying some information is missing. I beleive these folks are Sioux Falls, SD.  When I sked there they are, they said we are really in Mexico....then got very rude....When I mentioned I file a complaint for each fax, they just laughed....made some rude comments...then hung up.

Just got this fax. "Enrollment Ends Wednesday December 10th!" The insurance name not mentioned just like a SCAM. Called and just dropped off.
why like a blind fax? no names, no license numbers and no addresses. Like fraudulence!!!

This is a scam, they fax continuously.  Will not remove you from the fax list.  They will not identify themselves and when you complain they respond in an obscence manner

Affordable Healthcare fax to our business.  Robofax calls 2-3 of our numbers within seconds.  Have tried to use the fax removal line but hasn't worked.  People receiving these faxes should call this "company" and waste their time like our time is wasted when we pick up a phone and hear a fax on the other end.  Try and call it.  They'll ask for your checking account #.

If that is the case, why is this a blind fax (which is a violation of the law), no names given no license numbers and no addresses. These scammers have been working this fraud for years just trying to get access to your checking account. Complain to the FCC and FTC for the unwanted fax. and complain to your state legislators. Health Insurance is a regulated industry (State by State) Find out why these crooks are allowed to steal from the residents of your state.

I have got a few of these recently. One of them was confirmed a scam. Buyer Be Aware. The business name I got when I called this one is National Health Care Association. Probably a scam also.

Got the same fax 12/4/08. Called number and spoke to Ted Williams. He went through the whole thing and sounds great. Googled Healthcare Solutions and found nothing. Called number on fax today (Sat) and got message for National Healthcare Association. Googled this and found several fraud reports. I think its a scam!

Called the number advertised on the fax and the recording identifies the company as "Healthcare Solutions".
