I Received a call from my father where I haven't lived in years telling me a lawyer called and I need to call Ken Meyers at 1-888-442-5911 or my license will be suspended by 5pm tonight and that I will need my lawyer to contact his office.  I had an anonymous caller call this number to find out the name of the company and a don matthews stated it was "eastern assests management" and wanted to know how they got that number and continued to call my anonymous caller back.

Female from this number 716-312-9206 left a message that a civil law suit had been filed and that my state driver's license could be suspended.  My State will not suspend driver's license after a civil judgment, so this is false and probably a violation of Federal debt collection laws.  They request a return call to 888-442-5911.

The same thing happend to me. He said there was charges for Theft of Sevice against me. He said they can stop the charges if I pay the money. So I talked to a good friend who is a layer. He is the CEO of a company who does credit repair and a few other things. He said what they are doing is illegal. It's a violation of the Fair Debt Pratice Act, SBCTA. It's all a bunch of bull s***!

I received a call today, from someone claming they were from a law firm in NYC and that a credit card agency had filed a civil suit against me. I've never been late on anything so I researched the phone number and came to this site. I'm contacting the attorney general in the morning

So did I. They called today. I dont know what to do. What happened?

report this call to your attorney general's office as this type of collection agency practice is ill-legal and violates both state and federal laws.

I got voicemail from personal saying his name was Ken Myers a clerk for attorneys office about a civil suit he was going to hold for overnight and I need to call him so he can give me options to pay before it goes out.
