Looking for a Robert Williams.  Have no idea who this is and why they are calling my number which I have had for years.  Please stop calling

They keep calling and asking for someone that does not and never has lived in my household.  I don't even know the person they are looking for.

I KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER WHICH THE MAN ON THE PHONE SOUND LIKE IS IN A TUNNEL TALKING ASKING FOR SOMEONE I DO NOT KNOW WISH THEY WOULD STOP CALLING ME.

This number is for Weinstock, Friedman & Friedman, a debt collection law firm in Baltimore MD.  The information that you provided (abusive langauge, threatening lawsuit, going to jail) indicates a violation of the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act).  If the calls continue, you have the right to pursue legal action against them.  Finding a lawyer to do so may be tough, but one nice thing about the FDCPA it permits your attorney to recover their fees from the debt collector.

Be sure to take notes when they call.  If you are in a state that permits taping of conversation without consent, that improves your odds.  Record date, time, callers name (if not given ask for both first and last) and summary of conversation.

This is some law firm doing debt collection.  The guy had a heavy Spanish accent, spoke very fast and refused to repeat the name of the company.  All I could make out was something-Weinstock-something.  Demanded to speak with a woman I have no idea who she is.  When I told him that he said I was a liar because he had just spoken with her at this number earlier today.  I asked what that number was and he gave me my number.  Told him that it was absolutely impossible since no women live here, nor have any for the more than 20 years I have had this number.  He called me a motherf*ing liar and said I was going to have the pants sued off of me and then go to jail with her for not paying her debts.  Then he hung up.
