I worked with Ken Jones on a personal level. He went above and beyond to help me. He is a great person. He is very personable, and friendly guy. I enjoyed doing business with him. He really cared about my equipment getting sold and out there. I had no trouble getting in touch with him. He made sure I was well taken care of. Ken gets 5stars from this National Marketing customer. If I ever have anything for sale again in the future, I will be calling Ken Jones (7267). Thank you Ken!

Reply to RON: Well, I am NOT an atty, but I consider myself to be fairly intelligent, and usually know what I am doing. I have my vehicle as noted, listed in about 9 places, including eBay Motors, and eBay Classified Ads, and 7 other places, ie: Cars.com; CarsGurus, CraigsList, etc. Prior to trying to sell this car, I did the same thing with my last vehicle, which was a 2010 Toyota Venza. I do agree, that one does not have to use NMC to sell your vehicle for you. However they do list in places that I did not, and apparently it does cost them to do so.

From my vantage point, I look at it all like it is just more exposure for me and the vehicle I am trying to sell. I was lucky, and my Venza did sell, but it took almost 3 mos. to do so, and it was an almost new car with only 4500 miles on it. So far, I have received no inquiries from any of MY listings, so if NMC can generate calls, interested buyers, etc. then it will have been worthwhile for me to spend the $99 I did. If it sells from my eBay Motors listing, they get a comm. of $125 so how can I complain about the fee from NMC?

They said nothing to me at about the title to my vehicle, and claim they do NOT get involved in the final sale in any way, or the price at which it may sell.

As far as I am concerned, it is all a crapshoot. Sometimes you hit, sometimes you miss. I figure the very worst that can happen is I spent or wasted $99. If it does sell thru their efforts, it will have been well worthwhile. And I did not have to spend any money to advertise in the many places they claim to or will.

I received a call NOT from Ken Jones, but Wesley Walker, who says he is the Acct. Mgr. at NMC. He wanted to list and promote my 2011 Lincoln MKX for a 1-time fee of $199 payable up front. There is NO guarantee that they WILL sell it, but, they say they will continue to advertise, promote and list my vehicle, until it is sold. However long that may be, and it could be forever. Wesley claimed it should sell within 30 days or less. I went ahead, got them to reduce their initial fee which they agreed to. So far, I am NOT very impressed. They used MY copy taken from other places I have listed my car, and even then, made quite a few mistakes which I had to have them correct.

In addition, I provided them with 4 photos of my vehicle, but in one of their listings, they provided NO photos at all, until I contacted them, and asked them to please do so. Photos help sell cars!
It actually took me sending them no less than 3 e-mails about this until they finally did include the photos.

I would NOT call this a scam, but simply an attempt on their part to get people trying to sell their "whatevers" to use their services, such as they are. They seem to advertise or list in places that I have NOT used or tried. Whether or not, my car will sell, thru THEIR efforts, remains to be seen. If it does, then my money will have been well spent. If not, then I have wasted $99 to find out.

To date, it has been about a week to 10 days since I went ahead, and so far, I have NOT received any
inquiries as a result of any of their listings. In some of the many places they claim to advertise, my listing has not yet shown up; they claim it can take a week or more for that to happen.

I received a call saying to return a call to Ken Jones. It was listed out of Omaha NE. I called him back and he answered acting as if I was Bernie. I would suspect he really does connect buyers and sellers but asks for a commission when doing so. To anyone out there... this can cause a lot of titling and legal discrepancies. DO NOT participate in his activity. I am a lawyer and have seen many cases like this. He will take the title and literally scam your deal. Remember: if he can sell your car, so can you!

I received email just like everyone else.  In some of the above emails from nikki, the "nmsell" part of her email, if googled, comes up with National Marketing Classifieds.  Google "nmsell nikki" and you get the same thing.  And the number 133 appears quite frequently in the search as well as her emails.  So one would assume that these are all related and more than likely this number is for National Marketing Classifieds.

I did respond to the email I recieved. Ken is a real person. He listed my 2 rvs for me on a bunch of different websites. The person that actually sends you the email is apparently a secretary of some type. It seems like a pretty good deal actually.
