So it looks like SRS and Associates has gotten a new phone number.  Frank Shapiro called me from this number.  When I called back in, I was handed to Attorney Mark Weingburgs office.  I remembered seeing this name before.  

When will this place be shut down?

I got a call from Mark Wineburg from this number collecting in behalf of a payday loan that I owed on...is this office for real or is it a scam? does anyone know.  He had all kinds of info on my loan and wanted me to settle on a loan that I owe.  Is this for real or just another scam?? thank you for any info.  maria

DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE FOR THESE CROOKS! THEY TOOK MY MONEY! THEY USE NAMES LIKE FRANK SHAPIRO AND MARK WINEBURG! I WAS TOLD I HAD A CASE PENDING IN COURT BECAUSE OF A PAYDAY LOAN. ALL OF MY INFO WAS TOLD TO ME - INCLUDING MY WORK INFO AND MY KIDS. THEY WERE READING MY CREDIT REPORT. IGNORE THIS NUMBER!

ACTUALLY I SPOKE WITH FRANK SHAPIRO, HE WAS ACTUALLY VERY NICE. WE TALKED FOR ABOUT A HALF HOUR, HE SENT ME OVER DOCUMENTS SHOWING THAT I OWED, AND NOT ONLY DID HE HELP ME RESOLVE THE DEBT, HE HAS HELPED ME WITH OTHERS, WITH HIS HELP, I AM NOW ON THE FAST TRACK TO BUYING A HOUSE.

Don't pay these people a dime. They buy your old debt from companies who have written it off. Then they harass you so they can scam their money back.

SRS IS A COLLECTION AGENCY

Mean sounding woman called, leaving a message for "Shirley" telling her to contact about an urgent, pending matter that had been forwarded. She left the extension #118 and the phone number 1-888-448-1822. I believe that this is probably a "phishing" scheme, trying to place huge phone bills on my phone number. She said that once her extension is pushed, the call cannot be reversed. And said that "by law" she was required to notify her that she would place something or other on the file. IN OTHER WORDS, IF YOU RECEIVE A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER, THEY ARE LIARS. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK EVEN THOUGH THEY TRY TO PUT FEAR IN YOUR MIND. LIARS. LIARS. LIARS AND THEY ARE TRYING TO STEAL YOUR MONEY. Of course, the liar did not leave the company name...just a message for a person with a different name. They are hoping that I, from the kindness of my heart, will call back to tell them that I have the wrong number and sucker me into dialing a non-US phone number. BEWARE! These people are crooks!  Don't fall for their devil ways. The devil is a liar and the father or lies. I'm thankful that this web site lets me tell you about them.
