Got call from this number. Some kid mumbled something about Verizon Wireless, and said he wanted to discuss some options about my account with me. But before he could do it, he needed my name. I said that if he is from VW, he should know my name. He insisted and kept asking for my name. I said I wasn't comfortable giving him my name, as if he trully was from VW, he would know it. He said "Ok, fine", and hung up... Very strange and confusing..

Third night in a row... called from this number..... when answered, caller hangs up. On the do not call registry. Have reported this number being in violation of the registry. Possible $16,000 fine for each occurance. Go ahead, call me again.... It's your checkbook.

number calling me but don't leave a message. I would suggest not answering these types of calls. If it is important & the call was meant for you they will leave a vm!!

I am on the Do Not Call registry, so find it hard to believe I am getting a call like this. . . when I called back it said "Enter your PIN number." Sure, how about my bank ID too!
Any legitimate company would leave a message or call from a number that ID's the company name.

I'm a store Manager for Verizon Wireless, I was just now called by the same number asking the same info. I asked for their outlet ID and the woman casually told me a 9 Digit number, similar to an outlet ID. I asked them If they had realized I was under an Employee line so she said: "I understand that sir, please hold for a breif moment while I connect your call to our promotions dept....." Than the line hung-up.

I also received a call from this number...twice. I don't answer if I don't recognize a number, especially 800 numbers. Of course no message has been left on my voicemail.

Also received a call from this number. It was Verizon Wireless notifying me that my plan was up for renewal and I was eligible for a new phone.
