Don't open the text message. Go to the inbox and select 'options.' One of the options is 'reply with copy.' That will allow you to read the text without actually opening it.

Texting STOP only confirms you have a vaild phone number that receives text messages so they continue to send and sell to other lists.

They called my cell.

I keep getting calls late at night from 1-888-454-4382. I told them I'd turn them in. Please stop this number!

I called the number - they say they will send you a $100 gas voucher AFTER you join their program - you get 4 magazines each month at $4.99 each plus you  JOIN thier "Savings Club". They need your Debit Card number. They are in Las Vegas, NV. We all know they will charge your account for at least 3-4 months and I'm sure you will NEVER reach their Cancelation Dept.  PS - I called them multiple times with fake info....

I just added an app to my Droid X called Mr. Number that allows you to block numbers (even 800) ones. I got it free but I'd even pay for this if it wasn't!

Sick of this company spamming me with claim of my winning a gas card. They need to be stopped. I have texted back "stop" numerous times and they still contact me!

I got this email to contact them.  support@L1SMS.COM  --but am sending it from an email account I never use, just to make sure I don't get SPAM through email after contacting them.  not sure if this will work, but I'm gonna try to end this once and for all...already filed a complaint with the FCC.

I texted STOP twice, just got my third text.  There is no way that I can figure out to delete these before opening them.  I'm sick of paying for these texts!!

Not all telemarketers are sleazebags.  Legitimate business as a telemarketer.  Even huge sales companies use telemarketing, they just call it cold-calls.

I just put a block on 5 digit text messages so that I won't get them im the future.  But I'm told that if I already suscribed to them (which I don't remember ever doing) they will still come in unless I text back the word STOP.   What does the block do then?   After trying for 30 mins to get an explination from verizon about why the block didn't just stop all of them.  I finally decided to just hang up and wait to see if I ever get any more of these annoying texts.  The support rep said the block would take two billing cycles before it kicks in.  Why two months?  At this point I just don't care.  Verizon sucks and so does the company that's sending all this spam.

just Google phone them over, and over again...its a blast,and sometimes you get the same person.lol..if you have the time of course........they get the charge for the 800 number not us...let them pay for there ignorance !

The name of the company is New Line Co. Call the number if your state protects cell phone numbers on a phone that has caller ID blocked on outgoing. Ask them to activate the recording mode for the entire conversation. Tell them that you are requesting they remove your number from the text database. Get their ID number. Get their supervisor name. Advise them that you will file a complaint with your state and federal ICC and that you will request a portion of the fine levied as damages for breach of state protocol, and that each subsequent call will result in the same action.

Call 877-749-3533 they are the company responsible for giving out numbers and make there lives hell, its illumitrade, its they're fault

It was good to learn that others using Verizon receive text 51297 with same message.  Excellent site for confirmation.

I have reported the numbers with the Do Not Call list, blocked the max amount at Verizon, and have a list on my phone as "spammers" and "txt spam" with no ringer but they just keep calling from different numbers and I'm running out of space even using spaces for faxes etc.  Guess I'll have to add several more spamI, spamII contacts.

I too am getting tired of these calls and texts on my cell.  I get charged for each text since I don't have nor want a plan.  All this started when I switched from T-Mobile to Verizon.  Never had a problem before even years with Sprint.  Beginning to think TMobile sold a list of # that switched.  Tired of the extra expense and most of all the annoyance.

They keep sending me texts. I have replied Stop to end the unwanted texts and it says I will be removed but I still keep getting them. I called the number and spoke with a person and they said they would take me off the list but we will see

Just got a text from them earlier today asking me to call this number if I want a $100 gas voucher.  What a load of crap.  I'm not texting "Stop" back to them like it requests because then they will know for sure that my phone number is good.

I have a air horn that I just found a new use for!  Call, when they get through asking for name and number I blast them.  Over and over.  I am kind of bored day and found a new playmate!
