just because you have your number on a do not call list doesn't mean that people aren't going to call you when you put your number on the Internet once you have put your number on the Internet anyone can call you because you ask them to call you by putting your number on the Internet so don't do it anymore and you won't be b******* about your number being I do not call list and having some fun but no one's ever going to see because it doesn't qualify it doesn't work because you put your number on the Internet common sense

not a scam at all, SOMEONE had to of put your daughters number online, so of corse the agent will say it was your daughter because her name was on the form, again the national DNC list doesnt apply if you put your number online saying here is my number call me.

some of the agents need better training, yes, she should of politely eneded the call, but yes they do have to talk to the person whos name is on the request.

If this is an issue, contact the owner of the website you were on and filled out information for. Read the fine print on any form you fill out online, most of them say they will share your information. Do not fault the company for calling a phone number you have provided.

this number will only call three times a day thats not outrageous so get over it. and you did participate on a servey you obviously didnt read small print. the ONLY way they can get your number is if you put it on the internet. dont get mad at the ppl on the phone they sit there all day and just wait to get calls they dont get to see anything but your name. next time read the small print.

if your number is on the national do not call list it only prevents telemarketers from calling not a company where YOU enter your number and say hey call me. weather or not you did it on purpose or not if you put your number out there you will get calls. just dont put your number on the internet easy as that.

The name of the company is Search for degrees, it is a marketing system for online or college degrees. Most of you probably tried to vote for something or some type of info like that for them to get your number. It is not a collection agency- so no worries.

somehow, during a job search online, this number started calling.  frustrating and now feel my computer is not safe to hackers.  all i wanted was to look for a career move and now i am being harassed.

I went through with the call to get all the information I could about them.  This pushy woman called claiming my husband had contacted them for free information on colleges and financial aid.  I said he wasn't available, and could I take a message.  She said she'd just call back later.  Next time, I'll know who it is and not pick up!

Got a call from this number today.  When I answered, no one said anything so I hung up.  I assumed it was a robo-call but don't know for sure.  Caller ID says "Toll Free Call".  I'm assuming this is in violation of FCC rules about forging your ID.
