Called and left no message

I never gave any one my number to share but I think David's Bridal gave my name out after I shopped for a dress there.

They called and didn't leave a message so I'm not sure who it was, but I'm not surprised at all to hear that this number belongs to Men's Wearhouse. David's Bridal gave my email, phone number (cell), and address to TONS of wedding-related companies. It's really annoying.

I was verbally told that they wouldn't give my number to anyone. When I went in to look for bridesmaid dresses, they wouldn't take me back without my phone number. I asked what was going to be done with it and the woman told me it was just to help keep the bridesmaids info together under my name and it wouldn't be sold. I regret ever going in there. I have been harassed with calls and mail for almost six months now from everyone they sold my information to.

Thank you. That makes sense since I am planning a wedding. But that is NOT how to get my business!

Apparently this is a number associated with David's Bridal. Needless to say I'm not happy. I never answer numbers I don't know and that are 888 or 800 numbers. Furthermore, if it's actually Men's Warehouse, I got news for them- I'm a LESBIAN bride marrying another WOMAN, we won't be buying or renting any tuxedos!!!

I also get 2 to3 calls a day and davids bridal has my number. no message ever and every time i answer they hang up. very annoying. any ideas on how to make them stop?

I was coerced into "registering" with David's Bridal after my bridesmaids shopped there. A few months ago, I received a call from Men's Warehouse. I asked to be taken off their call list as I had rented my wedding tuxes elseware. However, for the past 2 weeks I have been missing calls from this number. They call at random points in the day and evening. I have always missed the calls as I am at work. No message - just the missed call. I finally had to research it today and find out about it being Men's Warehouse. I returned the call and pressed "1" to be taken off of their call list. So, we shall see if I receive more calls after today.

The frustrating part is, yes, I did not completely read the fine print on the form I submitted, but I have had to request that David's Bridal not call me. Also, I had gotten many calls from a Mary Kay saleslady who tried to tell me I "won" a bridal package for registering with their DB program. So, I had to request not to be on that list. Now, here is a 3rd company. Yes... they all work together. But geez! The next step will be stopping the ridiculous amount of emails I get muliple times a day.

Ugh. I am just glad I did not buy my gown there!!!!!

I have no idea HOW they got my number then... I'm not engaged and I have never given any bridal store my number.

This is Men's Wearhouse, unsolicited.  I purchased a wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses from David's Bridal - must be the reason for the unsolicited call for menswear.

Ok people, for your information, that is Men's Wearhouse Special Events Division number. First of all, they did not sell your information to David's Bridal or anyone else. MW and DB are co-branded, meaning they are partners in color and style. They are not the same company, however they are affiliated. Second of all, all you people need to start reading and paying attention to whatever ya'll sign because the papers that ya'll signed clearly asks your permission to receive calls from MW.

they call my phone numerous times a day, I realize it's mens warehouse... but no matter what I do they don't stop calling. it has gotten to the point where I first told them that me and my fiance broke up( which isn't true) then the calls being so frequent, my fiance answered and said I ran away, and gave them a sob story.... they still call. and yes we have tried to ask to be removed from the call list

Davids Bridal doesn't sell them your information. The two work together, it's in their systems. A lot of people don't realize that.

Davids Bridal and Men's Wearhouse are the same company.

I don't answer calls from unknown numbers, but by the looks of things, this is perfectly legit.
If you're wondering why you got the call- have you been to a wedding expo lately? Did you have a dress session with David's Bridal? (I've done both of these, so it makes sense)

The number is Men's Warehouse (associated with David's Bridal). Just call the number and follow the directions to have them put your number on the do not call list. All I had to do was press "one" when prompted. They haven't called since.

I registered an account with TheKnot.com, a site for people getting married. After that I started getting calls from this number. I hate when companies sell your telephone number to other companies. DO NOT sign up at TheKnot.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is Men's Warehouse. READ THE SMALL PRINT! All the people complaining about how horrible DB is should have read the disclaimer when providing your personal information to them. They are owned by the same people and so you are choosing to share your info with them. Obviously, there is an easy way to get them to stop calling. Call them back and press one when it tells you to do so. Seriously, IT IS NOT THAT HARD!

Got a call around 7:30pm, rejected since I didn't recognize it.  Voicemail was just a *click*.  Came here, being from Men's Warehouse makes sense since I registered to check out tux styles but don't appreciate a call that late and for no reason other than to get me in their store.  When I'm ready to shop, I'll let them know, hah.

No it's real. It's actually a promotion they seem to run consistently. We got my dress through David's Bridal and they gave us a booklet of coupons, one of them including this deal for $40 off plus a free tux rental/suit with 5 paid packages. Since our colors are kind of specific through David's Bridal and we have Groomsmen all over the country, we decided to just go with Men's Warehouse, coupon and promotion are 100% legit. Though my fiance negated the saved $40 by buying the $35 top hat and cane set they offer for keeps. Some boys never grow up ^-^;;

Men's Warehouse?? That makes sense now. Went to a bridal show w/ a friend, who is also engaged, and now I get calls & emails from all sorts of vendors. Already had Saavi calling numerous times to try to schedule an appt for my fiance to come in, and I had to tell them to stop calling cause we don't actually have a date yet. Looks like I may have to do the same with MW if they continue to call...

Yuck! I've been getting the calls too and nobody says anything. ANNOYING!!
