I got a call from this #.   They have been calling once or twice a day when I am not home.  Tonight they called while I WAS home and it is a dialer machine asking me to confirm my name by pressing one.   I pressed one and then the phone disconnected...   Oh well.

got this call on my cell phone, missed call before i could answer, then message on phone stating that this was a call from a debt collector. I owe no one anything. Be carefull about this one it sounds like the Vision solution company from GA. got a call from them, after a few questions was told i was not the person they were looking for, 2 months later, credit report problems, took 7 months and 14,000.00 in legal to correct, suit pending.  BE CAREFUL

I received this annoying collection call on my cell phone. I was directed to call this number:

From my Google'ing, it appears to be the number for Merchant's Association of Florida--whatever the heck that is.

I can't determine if this is a legit collection agency. But I'd just as soon send them a cease and desist letter if their address is correct. I've seen both a Florida and California address. So, who knows.

while i had my phone off, i acidentally turned it off, they called me and i was freaked out. they wont stop calling!

Be aware that telling an agency to cease & desist MAY stop them from calling but all it is going to do is force their hands to sue you or send the debt to another agency. You can't make it go away without paying or just suck it up and deal with the cals.

these people called telling me they were from the Bank Of America and something was wrong with my account. when i asked what they said they needed to verify who i was.... and asked for my password and accts. i said you called me you should know them.... and asked what was wrong with my accounts... they said they needed to verify who i was... I then said well i need to verify who you ... how do i know you are Bank of America... i then hung up and caLled Bank of America... the man told me nothing was wrong with my accounts, hes from the fraud department... when i called the number back it stated leave your name and number someone will call back

This is a collection agency who has been told to cease and desist, but have not done so. I am both on the Florida and the Federal Do-Not-Call Registries, and I work at home. Can anyone tell me what can be done about this, please??  Thank you!
