Got the letter today and called. The person said to attend a meeting at a Royal Hawaiian Hotel meeting room on Saturday, Dec. 22 at 3:00 p.m. and to bring my deed. (That made me suspicious) My consultant name is supposed to be Sam Freeburg, whom I will be meeting. I live in Hawaii and have a time share with marriott. The phone number I called is 888 632-6135. After reading the reviews, I will not be going to that appt. Thank you!

true. It looks like they change phone numbers and addresses all the time. Glad I was able to find this
information.

We just received "the letter" today. It is going in the garbage. We also received a phone call tonight, RCI (the caller said), and offered us 3 nights and 4 days at a new 5 star resort in Branson. My husband handed the phone to me and I told the caller "I don't know, we really don't have time for a vacation right now". He hung up on me.

I received a letter from this company Resort Members Association claiming that if I call 888-867-4597 they could eliminate my Maintenance Fees! I knew that it had to be a SCAM because you do not get something for nothing! I shredded he letter. Also this 888-472-9565 number has been showing up in my caller ID with unknown as the name. When this happens we do not answer the phone.a

Went to the presentation, they only wanted $6,000+ to releive us of a $895 a year payment. Then they said it would take 6 to 9 months to complete the transfer. The resort says 8 weeks. Hmmmm, think we will give this a pass. Funny the stories they tell, but I can't find that they are a company with any body responsible if they don't do the transfer.
Trust me won't work for me. Anyone want a great week in florida? Going free to a good home, since we moved to Florida and live it every day now.

Got the same letter from "Resort Members Association" today in San Francisco, but the phone number on this one is 888-670-6078. Junk mailing scammers.
| Cocaman 2012-09-14 21:21:48 Unknown |
Just got it in the mail and went directly to Google. 888-460-6472 is the number on this one.
Besides, how can I give it to them when a number of other companies want to buy it from me for way more than it is worth. I love to hear their pitches, if I am not busy, and see what 'no costs up front' turns out to cost me. Gosh, I'm willing to take half of what they offer if they just mail me a check.

My husband received "the letter". Phone number is (888) 242-4394. Just wanted to add the number to the growing list.

They are abunch of b*****d, scamers. They want you to give them your time share on a silver plate and about $6000 for their service. I have attended their meeting. I became vocal and guess what? Every body left the room. They are worst than time share companies. These people have no shame in grabbing your hard earned money. All they do is give these time share units to another company. And you are still responsible for your maintnance. These b*****ds should be arrested and put behind bars. Govt. should look into these scams
Never ever respond to these letters. We are just stuck with our so called property.
You can donate this property if you put it in your will.

Interesting that the letter is addressed to my husband, but my brother and I are the ones who own the time share. My husband doesn't even give his name when he checks in, so it's fishy how they got his name.
