eBay banned me so they got a chargeback, now they're calling my Tracfone. Oh boy.

I got a phone call from these people at 7:33am(Thursday)August 15th,2013. If my understanding is correct according to the Federal Fair Debt Collection Act require that, except under unusual circumstances they can not call me before 8am pacific time-till 9pm. And that is the same for the California Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practice Act. They May not harass you by using threats of violence or arrest or by using obscene language. Collectors may not use false and misleading statements or call you at work if they know that your not able to receive personal calls at work. The message I got stated that this was an important business matter and that YOU need to call us back and use reference # provided they individual didn't state her name or business name

call constantly, but never leave a message. They have a lady ask for you by name, and then a gentleman comes on the phone. I have no idea what this is for. I do not take calls from people I do not know.

Received a call from these people, I C Systems in St Paul, MN. They are a collection agency. They were trying to collect a debt from me that was owed to Ebay, Inc. from a previous seller. I was the buyer. I have my documentation and will be sending them a cease & desist letter.

I also received a call from these people, alleging that I have a balance due from Ebay, Inc. Turns out, I was the buyer and the original seller must have closed his account, owing Ebay money. So, they turned it on me trying to get money out of me. And, it looks like he opened another account and associated my name with it. wow....

Being hit up by Debt Collectors from I.P.C. System Inc. for an account that I *never* had with eBay.  Reading all the emails on this site helps me to know that they aren't alone in picking on me, that they change their name often, and that I need to file a complaint with both eBay and the FTC (Federal Trade Commission).  Keep up the good work for helping us little guys get these illegal debt collectors off our backs.

Ramon is breaking the law, by not identifying himself, and 'advising you in your best interests'
which or course only your attorney could do. This statement could be interpreted easily as a direct threat.

I would encourage you to do what I'm doing 1) file complaints with eBay, since the collection agency is either part of eBay or under contact with eBay.
2) Check the FCC website and Do Not Call registry is resources for filing additional reports.

Look for 'Ramon' asking for job applicatinos ata Burger King near you.

Some guy named Ramon who said "it would be in your best interest to call" and they are looking for someone else.

...but evidently she owwes someone some money.  I called and they removed my number from thier database.  If they call again, I will scream, and post another comment.

I.C. Systems; they call house AND cell (which I do not provide to creditors), and the only messages left are automated ones.  I do not respond to automated messages.
