For God's sake, don't answer any call that you don't recognize or that doesn't appear on your caller ID.  If you answer, they know your number is a working number and they will continue to call back forever and ever and ever.

We have no debt but they call daily, usually around 8:00 in the morning.  I do not answer but they continue to call.

They are calling for Dell financial services for a bill I owe for $310. I told them that I am currently unemployed and that I would have to wait until I do my income taxes and use my refund to pay this debt if I do not find employment first. Then they lecture me as to why I have not paid them anything and I told them that I did work in 2013 but have been unemployed since September, I also informed them that they are not the only ones I have to pay a bill for and then they go into how am I paying my bills now if I am unemployed. I told them that was non of there business and that the legally were not permitted to ask me that, I am positive them asking me that is a violation of the fair credit debit act (the said that they were allowed to ask me that). I told them to give me the account number and that I would call them back as soon as I have the payment.

A rude wake up call at 6:30 this morning with a loud mouth accusing me of being a deadbeat. I hung up. If this is Penta Group as others are saying, maybe they ought to check in to this nastiness.

?This is a 100% scam and this is how it works. They dig up your number from somewhere or just do random calls. Lets say that the scammers call 100 people per day and tell everyone of those people that they owe money. A good percent of those people don't owe any money and will just hang up, but keep in mind, there is a small percent of people out of that 100 people that do have an outstanding debt somewhere and also a small percent that will get scared and send them money, or even credit card information. All it takes is a few people a day to fall for it and they got what they wanted.



How this sort of thing is allowed to go on is crazy and it would not go on at all if people used a little common sense about who they pay and what information they give out. Anyway, this one is a complete scam. Unfortunately, calling the authorities seems to have little or zero impact on them.

These two people, a man and a woman, started propositioning me to join them in a three way using some of the personal intimate producs they were selling! Joe and Sally they called themselves. I hung up on them as soon as I heard enough to know that they were scammer porn sellers.

How dare they call a devout church going person like me with their smut? Especially Pentacostals!!!!

you ppl DO REALIZE that this website is owned by the 800 number ppl whom are trying to contact you, and this is a sting to find  your IP address, hence your home address; hence.. you've been served!!!

The caller from 888-475-9130 immediately started calling me names as soon as I said hello and threatened me if I did not send $400.00 to Penta Group at the Texas address by 5 p.m. tomorrow. He said he had my address - which he refused to say to me for proof. He refused to tell me who I supposedly owed the money to. Since I owe nobody I knew this call was a scam to scare me into sending money to some crook. How can they get away with that stuff? I thought it was against the law to do that. I guess not if what everyone said on this board is real.

I hope that anyone who has been harrassed by them will call them over and over again - its free - and when they answer just grunt and hang up on them. Here are some places to call.

How is it that these people can call and begin to call me a thief, con-artist, chisler and some other god awful names and telling me that I will be put in jail if I do not pay them for a debt they claim? I owe no one anything. I have never had a credit card and have always payed cash for everything including my car.

These people need to be put in jail and kept awake by listening to recordings of themselves.

They called my cell left the recording but the dumb a***oles forgot to place a name & phone number within the recording. Then a few days later they called my home number. Then again the a***oles forgot to leave ant massage. But there was a sound that resembles a stapler.

I get calls on my home number every day from this number.  They never leave a message and there is a clicking sound for 9 seconds exactly.

It is probably another scam.

i just polity called them back 1-888-475-9130 and spoke with a rep..Penta Financial..and informed the agent that i'm continuing to get calls for this particular person incorrectly at my number.....she did ask me my number...but i'm not fearful of giving it to them again as i know they have it and use it daily anyway.  She said she will update her records.  Of course i may have to do this a few more times before  they actually stop ..but it eventually works at getting them to stop....at least for a while...that is until the account gets sold or transferred to yet another collection agency and then it usually starts up again....until i finally contact them back and have them correct their records.  It does work better than ignoring it and hoping they will go away.

it does suck to get basically harassed when you always pay your bills and have perfect credit as they try to collect someone elses debt....  anyhoo..hope it helps

if you actually have a legitimate debt ..maybe you could talk with them and confirm exactly what you do owe and work out a reasonable payment plan with them.  If you actually have very little..then u can only pay very little..but if you indeed owe money to some establishment ..and you are a christian...maybe you and your church member friends can work out someway to make this right instead of ways to avoid them.

I get calls fairly frequently from various debt collectors looking for people that have evidently used my phone number as their contact number.  I don't know them nor do i personally have any debt.  I get a calls from this particular company almost daily.

2 calls back to back no message-tried reverse number-unable to find listing. strange if this is a real company.

These people called my church looking for me. Since I am a disabled former law enforcement officer, needless to say the people at church are very careful about giving out any info about me. When questioned, the guy told them he was a debt collector trying to collect a debt. When told that he was not to call the church again, he said 'tough, this is the only number that we have - so we are going to keep calling until he pays up!"

Looking at the callerid logs, he did call back a few minutes later.

Received a call from this number "trying to collect a debt".  Called back and was told to hold until next available operator.  I won't do that, so decided to check on the number.  Won't call them back now.

A Ms. Schuler called me at work stating I owe money on some made up credit card that I never had, she even called my landlord looking for my home number!!!!!!!!!!! I was mortified. This is against the law to call neighbors and to call at work!!!! I am so angry at this company right now that I am going to get them for harrassment!

Ms. Schuler at 888-475-9130 called me looking for a family member for urgent business situation.  We looked into it before calling back and it appears she is a scam.

These people call our business 3 times an hour.  Quite annoying.  If anyone has any advice how to stop these people from continously calling that would be helpful!

Calling for a business called Mizzou (something, couldn't make out the second part). Wouldn't that probably be in Missouri? We are in Flordia.

Got a RUDE random call asking for someone not at this address.  Send complaint to fcc.gov and call Red LIne Recovery  877-531-0333   to complain.  These guys are the worst telemarketers I have ever talked to.  Very RUDE.

This company randomly calls phone numbers looking for people.  Report them immediately for violating FCC laws by going to fcc.gov

Got call this morning from 716-250-4800 asking for someone with same last name who supposedly called them about a business deal. "William" left the number 888-475-9130ext 4650. When we asked what company he was with he promptly hung up on us.  The 716 number traces to a Redline Collections.  We have recieved several calls from them that have left no message or is just air on the other end of the line.

Just got a message from these people.  I have a high credit rating and zero debt, so I think they're just fishing for people who might be in debt.  They offered a debt "reduction" if I'd visit they're web site.
