Interesting..I just had a USBI charge on my bill..the number listed is 888-481-8724

The company is named Integrated Services & they can be found on SEVERAL fraud protection websites for actively calling people and stating they are either their long distance provider & needed to update information per a new federal law OR - in our case - asked us to verify all of our company's contact numbers for the sake of phone book publication.  They recorded the office mgr. agreeing w/the numbers and changed the tapes so the questions make it appear she's agreed to new service.  Took us for over $1400 before it was caught.

I have had same problem as Deborah..... was told that a person I don't know, at an address in my town that is NOT mine, they emailed me the "acceptance" notification that was sent in by the person who signed up, local phone service has blocked it, and now I am on hold with USDI (Cheap2Dial Telephone) ........... USDI has issued me a refund.

I called this number to find out why I am being billed for a long distance carrier and was told someone else did it without my authorization, and billed it to my number and that I would have to pay it through my long distance carrier and USBI would reimburse me. I told Delores(employee #1067) at USBI, that I was not paying it through my carrier since I did not authorize it in the first place. I then called my carrier and told them the situation and they put it in dispute and I am deducting it from my bill.
