got a call from a unknown number and they left this number and said they need to contact me about a lawsuit that had been filed against me but they did not say who they where or what state or county they where in.  very funny call.  told me that if i called back on this number 8884889103 that i could maybe work something out with them

I received a call while I was out of town from Mike James, he stated, if I did not return the call, they would have to serve papers on me at work. When I called 888-488-9103 - the recording suggested I was calling All State.  I was unable to clearly understand the message that was being left on my phone.

I received a call today...said his name was Michael Woods.  Said it was in regards to Fraudulent Checks & that I was being summoned to appear.  When I called the person said it was regarding a Pay Day Loan.  I've NEVER done pay day loans.  She gave me the first 5 #s of a SSN & asked for my last 4.  Told her the first 5 don't match...I didn't provide last 4 (nor did she ask).  She then asked for my DOB & said it didn't match her records.  I asked what state this was for & she said Port Charlotte, FL - I live in Indiana.  I put a fraud alert on my credit file just to be safe.

I am starting to think it crap. First call from "Michael James" advises he wants to discuss some checks that were written and defrauding a bank. Well that would be something if I wrote checks.
Then he called my father and said something similar and stated that he was on the account....hmmm, dad and I have no accounts together.
Then he called my mother and told her that she was a co-signer on an account that I was defrauding...again, not possible, my mother and I share no accounts.
Seems to me if I have an account with two other people on it, I would know about, and if it was this far gone for someone to be calling and saying he was going to serve papers, that everyone involved in the account would have been made aware of an issue long before now.

I got this same call on  sep 3 he states his name is Micheal and he has been hired to serve me a summons for defrauding a financial institution. He states that he will come to my place of residence as well as my place of employment. He left a number for me to call but when I call I never get anyone. Is this for real?

Got exactly same call regarding being served court papers for defrauding a bank. I called the # the woman would not tell me if they had bought one of my pay day loans. She has called my work several times this week asking to speak to my director and the human resources dept.

Got the same lawsuit call on 8.24. Guy had a name but left no other info other then i have 'been served' a summons. With to retired amp parents, i know for a fact that's not how it works. Very odd.
