Received several harassing calls from Richard Edwards at my work now he is calling my husbands ex-wife...I reported this to a few different agencies

I and my brother continue to get calls from a Richard Edwards. He claims that I owe money and that if i don't call back my claims will go to court or something to that affect.

I received the same message. About a month ago they called me and gave me 48 hours to resolve the case. Today they called me again and gave me 24 more hours. It sounded  like the guy (John Foreman) was reading a script. He said that they had a claim number TRI50186 (shouldn't the year be in there somewhere?). I Googled the number as well and found nothing except this site.

recieving continuous messages at work from them saying they need to serve me or will take other options. i called back and asked for a mailing address to send a mo to them. they said i need a debit or credit card to pay. NO WAY will i give them my info or even get a prepaid. this company is crooked and will, i guess, continue to call me since I am not doing that. said something about recording me on an fbi line. my cousin is an fbi agent, so go ahead.

Call   from  a  debt   collector. Yes I  owe  the  debt,  but  only  get  paid  once  a  month  and  
can't  pay  them  until  25th  of  March.   I  told  them  I  only  get paid  by  my  job  once  a month
and I  would  work  with  them  on  my  next  check  as  I  already  paid up  bills  for  now,  
they  took  this  as  an automatic  REFUSAL  to  pay  which  is  FALSE.   Very  strong  armed
and  nasty  to  work  with.
Told  me  I  should  get  the  money  from  friends  or  family  which  I  refuse  as  they
already  have their  own  bills  to  pay.   Guess  I  will  just  have  to  work  with  the
judge or  next  collector  that  takes  this  bill.    Only  $300 to $400  they  say  they  can't
wait  1  month  ....  they  could  just won't.

Got a call from this number.  A guy named John Forman (x107) left a message that I needed to call back about two court cases in my county.  CAlled him and he preceded to yell at me because I wouldn't give him any personal information.  When I told him I would research his company and call him back, he got really mad!    I called the company that he was supposedly a third party collection agency for and they confirmed he was a fake.

Everyday I get calls from these nbrs threatening me if I don't call them back they say that the maricopa county has 2 cases against me! But yet they dont say for what? They say if I refuse to contact them I am guilty with no response they will use my last 4 digits of my social that I must get counsel or attorney! These people whoever they are need to stop with the threats!

I got a threatening message yesterday from some fool named Michelle Clark. She called me and told me she had two cases pending against me and I needed to call her tot resolve it. This was over some company that was an online lender that put money in my account, I had my bank send it back and disputed the deposit. Therefore, it has already been handled.

She tried to give me the song and dance about how she was going to sue me
for check fraud if I didn't pay her 900.00 bucks. I had to explain to her the LAW and began with the fact that she was harassing
me for a debt that I refused to knowledge and check fraud consists of me actually writing a check.

These are very strong arm tactics do not give them any of your information and get your attorney involved if necessary!

Thesame guy called me (Frank Jacobi) with the same message-he seemed to get a hold of my cell, work and even my autisic son's cell phone!! What do I do to get him to stop calling my place of work.  He claims that if I don't respond it is regarded as a refusal.  Please help!!

I got a same guy called my home phone and left a message saying that he has 2 claims against me and I have to call him back or else he will take me to court.  I have no idea where all of this coming from.  I have no debt.
Will not call him back.

Yes, same thing here. I started checking that after having a few certified letters returned to me. The FEW places that did cough up a physical address were in the middle of the ghetto and had were usually a vacant lot or condemned building. Any legit company seeking rightful return on a loan will gladly give you their address and most often even have a few people dedicated to mail correspondence.

I have also added an update to their original call-in number that they didn?t block on their first attempt to call me

Usually the bad thing about extortion scam ops, is they  won't give you a real address to locate because they do not want to be found and hauled away in hand cuffs.  Address's are easily googled and google does have maps to actually see. In some cases, the PO box's have been warehouses or parking lots..   And some of them are not even in this country.  
Good luck, and if you get a valid legal address, post it up for others..

Taking advice of earlier post, contacting federal trade commission, hopefully getting a lawsuit together. My family is relentless.

I ran the name and while  found several company's under this name, none where debt collections. The only BBB that shows up is for a plumbing outfit. If you can, try to get them to give you a address & website.. I suspect they will not, it sounds like a extortion Scam OP..

Attorney general in my state are coming after this company and all that work there making these calls. Let you know how it turns out.

I got the same story. Unfortunately these scums prey on old people and try suckering them into paying. Working on tracking these crooks down and giving them a real legal scare. Thanks for sharing.

1-888-497-6167 Danny Cooper whose name doesn't match his voice. Reporting this office to police and attorney. Scam collection agency making threats and calling family members.

Had a missed call from 716-650-2640 where "Franchesca" stating that she was calling on behalf of "Seaway Services" regarding 2x cases within the county in which I have lived. She also gave a TRI case number. Thanks to identity theft, I've had many of these types of calls over the years and it's ALWAYS the same story... Two cases, serve papers, and they never give you physical addresses for verifications nor even the original creditors name.. Usually because they don't know it and are just trying to scare someone into paying. NEVER pay anyone who can't provide proof. Ask them to mail you a bill to prove amounts, first default and original creditor.. This is your RIGHT if you actually owe something within legal bounds.

I have been lots of call from the number: 1-888-497-6167. I am at work . I wish there was a way to stop this caller from my job. Is there a way to do it? Received a message from FRANCESCA (sp) regarding an outstanding claim in JEFFERSON PARISH, La.  She was also from SEAWAY SERVICES using the phone number 8884916167 extension 203 and CLAIM number TRI-908-07.  Called the number which dialed into someone's voice mail.  Will not follow up.  

same as Tammy but I got a call (11/29/2013) for a relative saying they were being sued by on online lender. He said his name was Danny Cooper (voice didn't fit name) he could be reached @ 888-491-61677 x112 gave me a case #TRI 84507. He had the relative birth date and county they live in.

someone name Danny Cooper talking loud saying he has claims and court paper work and if i wanted to resolve it before it goes to court i should call the above number.

About 10 min. later, another guy with the same attitude called. his name was frank. he left the same message with the same number and an ext 102.
BOTH OF THE CALLS SAID THE WERE FROM SEAWAY SERVICE, RIVERSIDE.
