My mother recieved a voicemail from this Allstate Litigation today, she thought it was Allstate insurance calling about a faulty claim? Im under her insurance policy. So she sends me the number and asks me to call and take care of it..see what it was reguarding. 1-877-418-3931 I was then directed to this litigation company, thinking it was allstate and was totally harassed and threatened by a man over the phone, stating I didnt pay a loan back from October 2009 and I had to pay 300 dollars??? He refused to give me a location or send me any info by mail (such as a bill or a statement) and asked only for a payment by visa/credit card. He knew my first and last name, the last 4 of my social and my moms cell phone number!!! Creepy. I told him basically to f*** off, total scam. Beware

This "company" operates illegally - can't find any address or email for them - but everyone should know that in the process of filing my bankruptcy, I asked a bankruptcy attorney about them and how they have threatened me about this past debt - she said she has heard from them and even spoken to them and that they are rude even to attorneys.  She told me that they apparently have ways to operate in most states and in some states (fortunately not AZ)  they have actually arrested people for what they term "check fraud"  - I already filed for bankruptcy protection for debts and they have tried to serve me twice at home (so they do follow through on threats in some cases) - the attorney told me to take the papers from the process server, give them a copy of my bankruptcy petition, and then promptly report to the Attorney General's office. I thought the days of debtor's prisons were long gone - it is not supposed to be a crime to be in debt - but these companies are appearing more and more...it is very scary.

TOTALL SCAM, second time called back today, i said ok give me your bussiness i d then ill have my bank process the payments, the guys starts screamming at me telling me they dont give out their personal infrmation, really so , i told him its not like a secret number, its just we can secure the information AND MAKE SURE everything is legit. They guy starts yelling at me and telling me that he doesnt have access to this kind of information and furthur more they had the man who was supposdly coming to serve me call. I said go ahead come to my address, ill see you guys in court no settlement, i dont care ill pay it all if a have to, I said ill have the cops here when you serve me. So all os a sudden he says well im in rhodes island , NO WHERE near me in my homeotwn in ct. Now i thought they were on ther're way to serve me right ?? thats why we were a rush to settle !! BULLCRAPOLA !!

Im really nervous, its messed up , i DID USE A PAYDAY ADVANCE LOAN, AND NEVER PAID, I KNOW IM SCUM, but LISTEN to this, They couldnt tell me the exact date ofd the transaction, they didnt know anything about they're location, they wouldnt give me an address or email. The hguy actully yelled out to his coworkers and said , whats the email here ?? Really does that sound professional ?? FUTHURMORE, they also told me that they cant email me any kindof verification of payment plan or settlement untill i give me my credit card number. NOW, if im willing to enter into an agreement and start makeing payments why wouldnt you email or fax me a SIGNED LEGAL document stateing you would only take out the funds i owed...  The truth is they hacked my credit account found out WHO I OWED, then began the games, now im lost cuz t he company doesnt exist !!

It is totally a scam.   I received a call from Courtney Miles about serving court document to my employee.    She started with our phone operator and called her inappropriate name.   She wanted the employee's phone number.  The operator transferred her to me.   I informed her that is private information and will not share it with her.   She got really upset and asked for his home address.  What an idiot.  Shortly after she hung up on me.   She also gave me a case number.

Was called @ 1200pm today... By a Robert Allen, stating he had a file of charges claimed against me but wouldnt say what they were for. Gave me a file # to reference when calling the 855-693-3682 # and said that if I did not call soon to remedy the matter that there would be paperwork sent to me at my place of residence or place of employment. They said I would go to court if I didnt respond and that the phone call was my formal notice of the processes being put forth. He never said the name of the company the debt was from, nor did he say the name of the company he was with, or the name of the company that I was to call regarding the matter. At 8pm tonight I called the number on the message left on my phone and whenI called, the voiceservice said it was Allstate Mediation and to enter an extension if known or "0" for the operator. I pressed "0" and was led to a voicemail box stating the persons were away from the desk or busy at the moment, and to leave a message with teh file# and contact number and they would return the call the next business day.  Now by law, they have 5 days to mail a letter to me stating what its all about but by reading statements from other people, they do not send anything to anyone until you give them bank account information.. Some people say they were taken to court and garnished the wages for the debts not paid, others say the company is fake and that no one should believe what is being "said" as they are a scamming company that doesnt have any jurisdiction to do anything... I google the company and nothing comes up but the complaints made on other sites.. I have no problem paying bills (when i can afford to) but I wont give out personal information, especially bank info to anyone... I will send you money when I can, you are not going to take it from me before I get to know why you are calling me... I am curious as to how valid these threats were.... I have filed complainst with the FTC, local Attorney General, and the BBB. No licenses exist in the state of CA for them (as I read somewhere that the company has a PO box in Redding CA.)

Got a phone call today 9-9-10 from a very aggressive man stating that I committed check fraud do to a payday loan I had with check and go some time in May of this year. I was scared at first but soon realized that they were just making this up so that they can get money from me as soon as possible, they even tried telling me that I will be gong to court and be faced with this crime before a judge and that I would have a hard time proving them wrong, but I stood to my word and did not let them instill this fear in me because I knew that  I didn't commit a crime all I am is in debt and that's not a crime. I just would like for these people to stop harassing me. They told me the name of the company is All state legal litigation, thought maybe this could be helpful to anyone out here who is experiencing the same problem

I just received a phone call (9-9-10, 7:15am PST) from a woman claiming to be Tina Smith who said she was a processor server with our state government.  She was calling to speak with our daughter concerning some check fraud.  She asked if I would pass on the message to my daughter and have her call 888-491-8466, which is supposed to be the number of the law firm that is filing the complaint, and have her speak to someone in the legal department and give them a reference number. I became suspicious for a number of reasons.  I never heard of a "processor server." A process server delivers legal documents.  But, she said "processor server" and there's no such title.  I asked who she worked for and she said a government office, but wasn't specific about what office.  She wouldn't give me the name of the law firm, claiming it was illegible.  And I can't find any law firm with that number.  I think it's all a scam.

This is a scam.  Started in September of 2010.  Pretends to be a legal firm.  Tells you that you committed check fraud by defaulting on a Payday loan.  Wants you to give a credit card number to settle the debt.  If not, threatens to take you to court.

DO NOT DO IT!!!  Any legitimate collection or legal firm would NOT use these tactics.

You're right Sweetie, IT IS DEFINITELY A SCAM.  ANYTIME A COMPANY CANNOT GIVE YOU THEIR LOCATION, WHY WOULD I COMMIT TO ALLOWING THEM TO HAVE MY PERSONAL CREDIT CARD INFO AND THEY CANNOT TELL ME WHO THEY ARE?  ALSO, THERE ARE LAWS THAT THIS DEBT COLLECTOR MUST PROVIDE A VALID WRITTEN NOTIFICATION BY MAIL WITHIN 5 DAYS AFTER THEY FIRST COMMUNICATE WITH THE CONSUMER.

was told that i committ check fruad for pay day long, was told that i would be served at my job,  gave me a case number, i have not being served as of today, i told them i would see them in court.

I just received a call from All State Litigation Firm. I looked this name up on the web and found nothing. They too told me a process server would be coming to my place of employment. When I told the guy on the phone I would call CMG myself to settle this, I was told that they would not take payment from me as my case is now in the legal process. Interesting......I have tried to pay this loan back on my own but no one will return my calls or answer any questions. They even told me I would have to go to court on 2 counts of fraud. Guess I'll just have to see what happens. Scary stuff!!

I have received a call from these people. Allstate Litigation. The first call was a message from a lady saying someone was suing me and my case number was yada yada yada. I called the number she gave me and a lady (Courtney Miles) got on the phone who was kinda pushy. I told her I had been burned before and was "gun shy" about this whole thing. She told me she understood and began to try and talk to me like we were friends for years. I told her I would call her back when I got home. I indeed called her back asking again where they were located. She told me Phoenix Arizona. After telling her I wanted something e-mailed to me she put me on hold only to come back and tell me she couldn't send me anything until I had paid in full. She then put me on hold and a man named Mike Davis got on the phone and told me was the manager and could he help me. I told him the same things I told her and he said he didn't understand why she told me that and he would check with the attorneys to see what he could do. I asked for a website address and he giggled saying he didn't know it but would ask IT what it was. I told him that being a police officer I know its law for them to send me something in writing within 5 days. He put me on hold to talk to the attorneys. He came back and told me they would put a hold on the litigations and said the attorney wanted my badge number to put in my file. I told him I was not going to give out that information. Strange thing is, he never asked what department I work for so my badge number wouldn't do him any good anyway. He said they would call me on Monday. Guess we will wait and see!
