The caller offered to lower my costs for processing credit card payments
I laughed and said "You are going to pay me to take credit cards?"
They said "What?"
I said "well, I currently pay nothing to clear credit card payments so if you are going to lower my cost then you will be sending me money."
They apparently got the hint and said goodbye.

I also received a call today. The guy on the line was trying to set up a meeting with someone in my area. I told him I don't need merchant services, but he kept persisting. He said they don't make money until I make money, just let our guy come by and give you an offer, no obligation etc. etc. When I tried to talk he interrupted, so I just kept talking and he kept talking, it got louder and louder, and a little scary actually. I finally said I wouldn't do business with someone who treats potential customers this way. He blurted some sarcastic comment and hung up on me. It really put me off for the rest of the day. I don't think we should be subjected to this abuse. Let's stop it!

Called our business twice already today, as well as numerous times in the last month. Will not take no for an answer... Want to speak to finance person when boss isn't available.

Got the call just now.  A woman asked to speak to the owner. i told her it was a law firm she was calling and to please be more specific.  She hung up on me :-)

This is my exact same experience.  They called a few moments ago, after calling repeatedly in the past number of months.  Every time, I've requested that they take my number off the list, but it's the same story again and again.  The excuse this time was "that this was her first day" and just continued to give me her speech.  I too am a Telemarketer Hater!

Finally got a live person when they called us today.  They are vague to get info from as they want to speak to the business owner.  I advised them the name they were asking for wasn't even the business owner anymore and the current owner was at lunch.  After I hung up I promptly added them to our Call Block service...hahaha!! The call was regarding the merchant account...re visa/mastercard best rates..blah blah blah!

This number is from Wholesale Merchant Services. They have called me 5 times since Jan 16/2012  They sell credit card and debit card processing services. Every time they've called me I have told them I wasn't interested and to put my number on their Do Not Call list. But they still keep calling. I wouldn't do business with that company even if they were the only company offering credit card and debit processing services.

Not sure what this number is.  When you answer it, it automatically hangs up.  Tried to call it back but just rings and rings.
