This number keeps calling me

I get these drug company calls from numbers all over the country.  Once, several years ago, I searched the internet to help my in-laws save on their prescriptions by buying from Canada - somehow my number got on a list that is now being passed around.  Some are 888 and others are local area codes, typically from FL, VA, CA, OK, and NE.  It seems they just move their operation if they get busted or have multiple locations or it is multiple operations.  If you have AT&T service, you can block up to 20 calls for free. Save the number in your contact list then go into your menu, choose settings, call, and call reject.  Turn Call Reject on.  Below call reject should be Call Reject List. Choose the number you want to block and it will be saved.  The problem for me is I have already exceeded my limit!

They call several times a day. Sometimes they will call 5 times in 10 minutes.

Tell them you are recording their phone call for the DEA and ask them questions like what is your name? And who do you work for? And just keep doing it don't let up on them. After a few times they will leave you alone

Yes - these jack***es have been bothering me for more than a year.

My insurance company stopped paying for the allergy medicine Allegra, which my wife, daughter and I all take daily because of allergies...

I found what was purportedly a Canadian pharmacy online that would sell it (Allegra is over the counter in almost every country in the world) and ship to me here.  I bought one year's worth.

Before long, a package arrived from India.  India?  Yes, India...  Counterfeit (but active) brand-name Allegra from India.  This transaction in of itself was successful as we got one year's worth of Allegra for all three of us for less than we would have paid for co-pays...

But...

Then they started calling.  Indian folk, with strange invented names - MIKE HAT, JOHN POWER, etc...

They've been hammering me several times per day since then, not selling Allegra this time, but rather trying to sell OxyContin!

They have software that allows them to change their caller ID at will...  They don't have any problem whatsoever with being hung up on 10 or mores times per day...  They just keep calling!

I created a 1 second long ringtone file of emptiness - no sound at all.  Anytime these people call, I point that number to the no-ring ringtone, which makes it a little more bearable for me...  Unfortunately, they switch out the pool of numbers they use over time to keep it fresh and to get around obstacles like mine.

at this point they change there numbers so many times, i just dont answer any calls from 800 numbers or 877 or any of those exchanges,  i set my family members ringer to a certain ring and all else get another ring so i dont even bother looking at the phone when it rings the other ring tone,   problem solved.

I get those calls every day they ask to speak to edward and they claim to be in the DEA I work for a police department and so we called the actual DEA and they dont even call people like that so i have people from the actual DEA working to stop this if possible

Once you log in you will be directed to a page where you can block up to 5 numbers for free (up to 20 if you want to pay an additional $5\month).  The block lasts for 3 months, and hopefully by then these d-bags will have given up.  

If you have another carrier research whether or not you can assign blocks to specific numbers.

Get several cell calls a day. They apparently have several different numbers they use. If I don't know the caller I don't answer. They never leave a voice message.

A couple days ago, I got about 3 calls from this number in a 1 hour span.  He wanted to sell an overseas produced generic of a particular drug I had purchased online through a Canadian pharmacy.  He even knew which drug I had previously purchased.  He said he got my cell number and medication name from a list published by the online company.  He wanted to know what I paid previously as he believed he could get it cheaper.  I told him I would not bargain for medication and asked him to lose my number.  Thankfully he hasn't called back since.

I immediately emailed customer service of the on-line company.  I complained, asking if they published such a list.  They have not returned my message.  I would rather believe their computers were hacked for this information, as I I'm sure it is illegal to publish such lists. [Strange that the caller did not know what I paid for the med, if he already knew what pharmacy published it.  Their prices are clearly listed on thier web-site.]

This # calls 8 to 10 times a day some days, others about 3 or 4.  Some are hang ups with no message, some are messages.  One message was really weird.  All the guy said was "Do you know what Mama Grabel means, get a spanish to english dictionary, look it up, and call me back".  He repeated the words a couple times.  He knows my name and won't stop calling.  I couldn't find out what the words meant (not sure if I'm spelling correctl, as his accent was hard to understand).  I'm so frustrated and wish I knew how to stop.  They call so early in the AM, and again late at night.  Already reported, etc. etc. but nothing can be done and it won't stop.  I may have no choice but to change my #, but feel the same as KS says above, I really don't want to.  Looks like I'm not alone and don't know what to do.  Jerks!

some compete a-hole called my home at 8:41 am this morning and left the rudest message saying "why can you just pick up the f-ing phone" just say don't call me. who ever this it should be shot and if I find out who you are i will prosecute you.
