I got a call from 1888-497-6839 i didnt answer the phone.  The same number called on an unknown number.  I still didnt answer it nor did they leave a message.  If I cant identify the number I dont answer the phone.  One time I slammed the phone down on them.  These scammer are very annoying.  Please dont put any personal information on line as they will try to use that against you to get money along with threats.

These a**holes have been calling me at least twice a day for weeks! They leave threatening messages to the effect that I will need legal representation immediately and if I choose to ignore their calls, "God be with me," who actually says that?! The "God be with me" was the initial tip-off because it just sounds so terroristic, but I did return the call because I have an active payday loan and do not want to my credit score to completely tank. Well, these idiots gave me very specific information about myself like where I've lived in the last five years, where I work, ect. but it's all the exact same information you would receive if you Google anyone's name, so I didn't buy it. He threatened that the local law enforcement had a warrant for my arrest (a quick online search confirmed they never did, btw) and that I would be required to appear in person in criminal court in Jacksonville, Florida (I live and work in Texas, never been Floridian) and that I would accrue at least $7,000.00 in legal fees at the minimum OR..... I could avoid (his words, he has some nerve!) "going to jail, losing your job, losing your credit, maybe even losing your family," if I paid $482 and some change right then. I asked him to send me something in writing before I spoke one more word and I hung up. They continue to call, but are much less aggressive with me now. Thank God I know how much personal information is available online and that law enforcement agencies typically have online databases warrants issued and such. Someone might get taken to the cleaners by these crooks. Please, please, please US Gov (FTC, FBI, whomever handles this stuff) please arrest these guys, or at least shut them down! It is so wrong to make money this way.

they call looking for innocent victims who dont know much about technology and social engineer them into getting their info.  Play their games call them up and act like a lawyer from philippines or something and they will get angry and stop calling when they dont get what they want.  they are nothing but gold digger's.

Just dont pick up the call read above and if you see any of those numbers pop up on the caller id call your phone company and have them hard block it and send them the logs.

They've called about 5 times today. I kept playing Carrie Underwood music because I am sick of harassing phone calls. I just called back after the 6th call, and the woman said her name was Kathy (lie) and it was a debt settlement company. The number didn't even ring when I called it back, so basically its BS and yet another scammer. GO SCREW, SCAMMERS!

I have no idea who these people are but if they call me again I WILL DO SOMETHING to stop them.  Sick of my phone ringing and its them.

I have been getting two or three calls a day on my cell phone. They want to combine payday loans that I don't have. I have blocked their number on my cell phone, but they are still calling and all their calls are rejected. I have talked to them before and told them not to call any more, they call anyway.

These idiots kept calling me too - and the bad part is they sell their phone number lists to each other, so if you block one number you will still get calls from other numbers.  I blocked all 800, 877, and 888 phone calls on my phone, and finally got peace and quiet.

I know this is a scam, I do not have & have not received any pay day loans or cash advances in many years from anyone. This number calls my cell at least 4 times a day. I don't answer calls from anyone that isn't listed in my contacts.......I did answer one by accident when they first started calling me & they do have my SSN & birth date plus other pertinent info. They are rude, don't hardly speak English. They threatened to arrest me for fraud & used curse words at me when I tried to explain to them that I didn't know what they were talking about. When I put the attorney that I work for on the phone & after he told the idiots who he was, they still cussed & threatened me. Stupid a***oles need to stop calling me. I'm sick of being interrupted & harrassed by dumb a***s.

This blasted mypaydayreleif company keeps calling me once or twice a day.  I tell them I have no paydays but they keep calling.  Beleive I am going to turn them in to the Attorney Generals Office for horrassment.

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

Some fraudsters have instructed victims to fax a statement agreeing to pay a certain amount, on a specific date, via a pre-paid Visa card. The statement further declares the victim will never dispute the debt.

Dont pay any attention to these idiots they are from makati city phils area and from india and they are false reps of a true payday loan relief out in costa rica the owners real name is Lizz and she's been notified along with FTC, FBI and some Intel agency out in the phils who handles the FBI interpol.  I have also given them the direct location from the calls all the way to their actual address.  i call them about 540 times a day for 3 hours seducing and playing their own game along with calling them on skype and making them relay call another federal agency until they beg to stop but i call and call for each unwanted call they make to my house i call them 10 thousand times a week.

Call me all the time, multiple times a day.  I never answer and they never leave a message.  They're driving me crazy!

Receive calls from 8884976840 at least twice if not more often threaten to arrest me at my home and that I have committed fraud.

Called and left no message and when i called back i asked what the company was called and then told them i dont have any loans that are behind and stop tryin to take my money, the lady then told me to SHUT UP and then hung up!!!

they have called me AT LEAST 6x's just today. says they are payday loan debt consolidation company. after about the 4th time that they called, in one day mind you, I advised them to stop calling me, not interested. and wouldnt you know it, as soon as I would hang up, they were calling rite back! I finally told the woman if she calls back im filing harrasment charges. she started gettin smart with me, I called her a b...h and she proceeded to call me 1 and that I was harrasing them!  well that did it, I went off calling her a few choice names, advised them they would be hearing from my atty. and made it impossible for  them to get past my VCML...unfortunately, they are not the only ones who are practicing this "BAD BUSINESS" tactic. can we file a class action suit against all of them for harasshent and fraud?
