I got a call from David First Jacksonville, Fl and he asked me to help find and old friend of his. He gave me a name and said that they were my neighbors he included the phrase, "this is not a telemarketing or sales-type call". Funny that he knew my name and number but could notget the neighbors

david first  tells me i have not contacted him about a letter he sent me and has called a neighbor also to get in touch with me

Had a message from David First today; he was looking for a lady who used to work for us & wanted info on how to find her. He said he was in Jacksonville, FL, but he called from a land line in the St. Louis, MO area. Caller ID said the call was from "CCC," which might be a collection agency. He gave this 888 number to call him back. Some of these agencies (including a CCC in Jacksonville) are getting quite a bit of negative publicity for taking a fee from clients & not following thru. Will let my husband call him back & see what's going on.

We get calls from this man, David First, all the time. He is even calling my in-laws, neighbors, family members, and ex-landlord. Said he sent a letter; don't have a clue what he's talking about. I have recorded the phone calls and am now searching for the "person" I need to report this to. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I get 2 or 3 calls a day from this number. He says his name is David First (Firth?) and he would like me to return his call. He also leaves a "case number" for me to refer to when I call. The most recent message also included the phrase, "this is not a telemarketing or sales-type call".

Sounds like the set-up for an auto warranty scam.

Yes, I did....said his name was David First & he needed an answer to the letter that he sent. I have no idea what letter he is taling about.
