I got a call from this number too. Based on posts here I called back. They immediately talked about my credit card account and did not ask for my credit card number. They had legitimate records of my transactions, and said they were asking questions about my Bank of America business credit card. No personal identifying information asked for other than name and address.

Got an automated call from this number. Called them back & got a woman who couldn't seem to give me any info on what (if any) "fraudulent" activity was seen. I asked her several times who the company was, and she just said "SIA Bankcard Services". She couldn't tell me what cards the call was in reference to, either. I asked her what accounts they had listed for us that might have had fraudulent activities, she just said she was checking them but couldn't seem to give me the name(s) of the
bank(s) that the cards were through.  I told her the call appeared unnecessary as no fraud showed up on their computers and not to call back.  I wouldn't give these people ANY info if I were you. Sounds like a
scam.

This is not a scam, it actually is Bank of America in the Fraud Department. I just talked to them and they are reversing a charge for a magazine that was attempting to charge my account for an annual subscription, again for the third time. I am a businessman, and have delt with them several times in the past. The number is good. Thanks!

There have been posts made from people claiming this is not a scam. They are probably part of the scam trying to convince people they called and checked it out. Before doing anything I suggest you contact the Better Business Bureau and also your local state Atty Gen office for true verification.

I too was suspicious when I received a call from this company.  I called them back and they were able to verify which bank (BofA) they were representing, asked a couple very generic 'security' questions (did not require any personal or account info - other than a name).   While the transactions in question were not fraudulent they were suspicious because of the # of card swipes and a wrong zip code being used.   I confirmed the transactions with my cardholder while this company called.

Good to know someone is on the lookout for fraudulent transactions!

this is actually a fraud call center that handles quite a few different banks.  it is not a scam.  they can look up the account info by your phone #, no need to give them your credit card #.

Just got a telephone # from this line, said it was bank fraud department.  I was very suspect as I have dealt with the fraud line on our Company cards several times and this didnt ring true.  I just googled the number and glad to find out this is a scam.

I called this number back and explained my concern regarding who they were (B of A).  They suggested calling the number on the back of my credit card so I know I am speaking to Bank of America, which I did.  They were confirming some recent charges to be sure they were not fraudulent.  They were not.

Our business got a voicemail from this number. It said it was from Bank Card Services Fraud department calling to verify recent activity on the account.  1-888-503-6094. It also said it was not a sales call. I thought this was strange since it did not say the bank name. I tried calling and it still did not say the bank name and immediately put me on hold (played music).

This is a valid message and you should call Bank of America.  You may want to call the # on the back of your card instead and then ask for the Fraud Verification Department as a precaution.

I did have some fraudulent use on my business credit card.  I called the credit card company directly and had the card cancelled, at which point I shredded the card.  5 mins later Card Services called and I listened to their recording.  After listening to the recording, I called back, was put on hold, listened to the music and then a representative came on the line and asked me for my credit card number.  I would not give it to her, but did give her the phone number they called to reference whatever account they had on us.  She verified that I had just canceled my card through my credit card company - and she also knew my credit card number without me giving it to her (she used the last 4 digits of the card as a reference to tell me that she had record of it being canceled).  I'm not sure if they are legitimate, or even what purpose they serve.  At any rate, it was an unnecessary step that you could skip if you just call your credit card company directly.

A message was left on on voice mail that there was suspicious activity on my business card account. It left a number to call, but no business name. I returned the call. There was no business name when the phone was answered. I was immediately put on hold and when someone did answer they immediately wanted my credit card number. I refused to give it so they told me to call my business credit card company and they would straighten it out. I told them I had several business credit cards. They told me to call any of the credit card companies and they would know where the fraudulent use was on any of the credit cards. I called one of my credit card companies and was told no fraud but they were only able to verify for their company. Beware of this number. I reported this phone number to the credit card company........

They seem to be affiliated with BofA fraud detection in case there is questionable transactions.
I did not give them much information on my hand but they needed to verify pending transactions.

This was a call to make sure there was no fraudulent activity on business visa credit card. Perfectly legible. I gave them snippets and they filled in the rest. I am glad someone called to validate some activity on my account.
