Do not pay these people they are a scum bag collection groups that completely violates the the law. Make complaints about all these places with the FTC so these people get shut down and let real debt collectors who abide by the rules collect legitimate debt.  if you do not pay them and do not answer their calls they will go away!

I recieved a call from this same individual, and at first didnt think much of it as I am in the process of getting divorced and do recieve legal paperwork from time to time. However by the third message left I became curious. Any other time I've been served paperwork they simply showed up, so I decided to call the number and what a treat that was! It wasn't until speaking with some birdbrain named Chris Falingo or something along those lines, that I realized what was going on. He gave me this muddled explaination as to what was going on that not only sounded rehearsed, it didn't make sense? I'm sorry, I've have been through two civil suits and now a divorce, and there is no way a law firm would hire an idiot like this guy. He kept insisting that they were not a collection agency, when at no point did I accuse them of being one? Then, the next thing I know this Falingo guy found a "loop hole" to help me and wanted credit card information. Knew right then it was just a big scheme. Much of this conversation was laughable to be honest, but I'm sure people fall for it and it needs to stop. Ive been all over the internet, and making numerous calls to get to the bottom of this and will be checking back!!!

Called my cell, my son's cell, and my place of employment.  Shows up as Unknown Number which I never answer.  The guy told my son and my employer a bogus story about a pending court case and there were documents for me to sign by Wednesday the 16th but today is Monday the 21st.  Seems that this guy is reading from a script and forgot to check the dates.

Debt Collector
This starts as an "Unknown Number" call from Jonathan Harper called me too -at work- from an "Unknown" number- threatening to show up a t my house or job TOMORROW.  With "a notice of intent to appear in court". If he  is a debt collector, he can't come to my job- he can only do that if he is a legal  process server. But He just says his name- which if he were a real process server, he would identify himself as such and the office he works for, and not hide his number.  Moreover, he gave me a case filing number for  the agency I supposedly owed's Company"?? Why can't he tell me the Agency's NAME that is trying to collect the debt, and hauling me into court?  All he gave was this 888 number- not his.

FDCPA requires that collectors Identify themselves. I think "Johnathan" is a replacement for some other  bully that called a few weeks ago. He say where he worked either- just kept asking if I was 'me". I asked who he was, since he called ME, and he wouldn't tell me, just kept repeating the question. Then he got rude , told me to "quit playing games on the phone and just tell him if I was ___ or not?". That's when I hung up on him. You don't call someone, not identify yourself, and DEMAND they give you their information, AND insult them on top of that.  So He calls right back- I let it go to VM, and he leaves another rude message, calling me by my first name and telling me to "quit playing games". Then Tells me 'If I don't call him back at such and such a time" he will "Go forward with what he has- so HAVE a NICE DAY". What the??  I didn't call him back since who ever he was, he broke all kinds of FDCPA laws.

Now they got this guy calling me. He isn't aggressive, but he still makes threats- legal ones this time. I guess since the "Bully" tactic didn't work, they are trying the "Court" one.  I tried looking up this "John Harper" in my city and there's no listing of him. Makes sense that he uses an "Unknown Number" because if I see from the area code that he lives 1000 miles away, his threat of "Showing up at my house or place of employment TOMORROW" doesn't make any sense.

I want to call this 888 number but the last time I did, it just buzzed. I want to call and work out a plan for the debt of course, but when they use bully tactics, it doesn't help them.  I'm going to call again and tell  them NOT to call me at work, as its against my employers rule, and NOT to call me at all anymore, just communicate via mail. If they still do, they are violating FDCPA and it will be THEM getting sued. I will put this in writing and mail it to them too , as well as my available payment options- if they don't accept them after I've made the attempt and still harass me, its time to see an attorney.

Yeah, Jonathan Harper keeps calling me too. This is pure harassment as I work for a state agency and I don't understand how he was able to get all of my work numbers.
