I just received a couple of calls from this number and a message was left that I had file for some Tax free stuff and that he is from the IRS and will be notifying my county to arrest me for fraudulent of some sort.  He had an Indian accent and I was suspicious it might be a SCAM call.  So I checked online line for this number, 888-508-0325 and sure enough, found this page. Received dozens of  scam calls from supposed IRS auditors/ atorneys on my cell phone & home phone in last one month. Tired of these and will try to report to authorities now.

IRS impersonator  issuing threats and harassment to the point of calling my home number 6 times within a short period of time yesterday.  I unplugged the phone for the calls to stop.
It has already started again today.  So sick of these idiots.  I reported them yesterday to the No Call List and the FCC both for threats and harassment.

Ditto all the above without the harassment.  Yet.  Only 2 calls, First incoming, got suspicious asked for phone number to call back, did, got very suspicious - direct line in, no answering message with menues, poor line quality, thick accents.  Hung up and researched number - came up with this.

I got the same phone calls multiple times....first 3 months ago...i knew right away that it was a fraud...once again today on 4 21 2014 ...i am thinking of calling to real IRS or police as they may get some innocent person who would buy in their lies.

I keep getting calls from these guys pretending to be IRS.
I know that IRS will not call someone if there is a tax audit or issues with taxes. They would send a letter or a legal notice by mail, asking for more info and time to respond. These are crooks.
Can someone in authority like police or FBI investigate this ?

I received several times this call and 8 times today between 6:24PM and 6:28PM. I saw several people reported the same with so many victims and lost money. My question how they still able to do this? Is there nobody to track them for security reasons and how this # still valid to make calls? Please try to stop them so that other people should not be victimized any more. One time, I answer in my native language and told you are a lost child with INDIAN VOICE and go to ask your own DAD,MOM,SISTER,BROTHER and OTHERS from your family. They should be taken to justice by any means!

Call received 4/15/2014 at 4:45 pm purporting to be from the IRS and asking for my daughter, I w/not provide her info, the man got very upset and demanded I contact her and call him back, I will not be doing that.

I got a call from 1-888-508-0325, the number looked like marketing call, I didn't pick the call first time, then I continued to get call from the number. When I picked up, the guy identified himself and said he is calling from IRS. He asked if I have a criminal attorney, as I have a criminal case filed against me by IRS. I asked him to send the details through mail. And he said it was sent by IRS on last year (2013 dec). I said I did not receive any, then he claimed that the mail returned back to IRS stating there were no one at home to receive it. I asked him to resend it, now he started to raise his voice and started to threaten that he will send police officers with warrant for arrest. I then asked his controller number and office location. He sounded as if he is more annoyed by that question and told me that he will dispatch officers to be at my place in 45 mins. (And I am still waiting for the officers to show up after several hours :)).

My main concern is, how to trace these callers. The scary part is these guys have some personal details like name, contact number and address etc. Who knows what additional details they might be having. How to report such activities. What are the entities within government investigate these type of anonymous phishing.

I just received the same phone call.  My caller id box showed the call came from 1 888 508-0325.  When I answered the phone, he asked for me by name.  I didn't understand the heavy accent so I hung up.  The same phone number called back immediately and I hung up again.  When they called third time, the guy screamed at me 'why do you hang up on me; I'm not selling anything' -- told him I wasn't interested and hung up.  They called back a 4th time and again he screamed at me 'you've been on the phone for 45 minutes.  If you do not talk to me I'm going to send someone to arrest you.  I hung up once more.

Got the same call, saying "my taxes audit problem ". I will simply ignore this guy..

keep receiving calls about tax audit depart of the IRS and legal petition notice blah blah blah and call back before we contact the IRS and do not disregard this message.   Each message is the same; however, the phone number changes each time.
