This is a company that does surveys about Toyota maintenance service. The problem is that they do not leave messages and the Caller ID just says 800 Service, so no one responds to their calls. I blocked it. The Panasonic phones can block.

It's a company that is hired by the dealership to call you and make sure that you have scheduled your first service appointment and to make sure to fill out the survey that you might get from the manufacture, i.e. Toyota, Nissan, Honda, etc.  They are not out to harm or bother you.  Just politely tell them everything is good, and that you'll fill out the survey.  I know this because I just bought out my lease.  They called today to schedule an oil change for me.  They were representing Autonation Toyota in Cerritos CA.  I didn't pick up the call on my cell because I didn't recognize the number.  I called the number from a land line and someone picked up.  Right away he told me who he was, who he represented and he knew my name.  I told him I didn't need the appt, I already took care of it.  He was nice, thanked me for my time & we parted ways.  No harm, no foul.

Called my cell. No one home.

A person who identified herself as "Martine" said she was calling on behalf of Lexus of Palm Beach. Wanted to know how my recent service went. I told her it was fine and she said a letter had been sent out detailing problems found with the car and wanting to schedule service. I asked what were these problems and why wasn't I told at the time? She said she didn't have that information. I asked to resend the letter and she said she didn't have access to it. I began to get suspicious and asked who she worked for she said "I'm calling on behalf of Lexus of Palm Beach" and I said "So you are not actually with Lexus?" and she said no and at that point I terminated the call. This is most likely a scam company.

With an iPhone, just go to the number in your "Recents" menu, and at the side of the number(or bottom of, or somewhere else, on the screen) select the "i" icon.  The pop up will allow you to select "Block this Caller".  No more B.S. from these clowns, regardless of why their unsolicited harassemnt of users!!

This call is ridiculous. Called on my landline, did not answer. We do not own a Nissan or any other Japanese car. Did not recently buy a car anywhere. Called at 5:03 pm SoCal.

Someone above mentioned Nissan. I think you are correct and I believe it may be for a survey. They called last night and as soon as they said automotive/nissan and told them not interested and hung up. We just had some work done on one of our nissans so that was probably it.

I called them back at 1-888-508-4591.
I had to give them my telephone number for them too look up the information on why they called me.

She said that she was calling on behalf of Desert Toyota and that it was for a Customer Satisfaction Survey.

Desert Toyota is where I had my car serviced. She was asking about my Customer Satisfaction with the service I received. She also had the service comments about needing some additional service and would give me a 10% discount on servicing my fuel system. Did I want to schedule that now? I said no.

I told them it is very annoying when they call and leave no message. I also told them that I was only calling back because I looked up the number on the Internet and found it was just a Customer Satisfaction Survey call. The next time they call and leave no message, I will not pick up or call them back.

She said she would pass that information along.

Bottom Line - It's a company hired to make phone calls for businesses, or whomever. The nature of the call is based on what they were hired to call you about. It sounded like they were reading it off a computer screen.

I called it back and it was telemarketing for Bellevue Jeep.

This is a marketing company, the computer calls, when no one is available they disconnect. I called them back, they had my name from caller id and identified themselves as an independent survey taker for the car dealer where I had my oil changed.

I own a Nissan maxima and just got serviced at the dealership. It's a survey call to see if I was satisfied with the service I received. I get it every time I go to the dealer.

Toll-free numbers capture all incoming numbers so "don't give them your number" is irrelevant, they will capture it anyway.

seem like car related? but i never pick up the call.
i will pick up next time, since i did service my Mercedes few days ago, maybe a courtesy survey calling.

Getting hang up calls and have not had my car serviced lately!!

I bought a Chevy they called me to and said they were hired by the dealership Chevy and told me that my oil change was do. The prob  is that I just had my oil changed by the same dealership two weeks ago

I have received several calls and nobody is there when I answer it, so I stopped answering the calls.  I recently took my Toyota in for service also.

I found a simple solution.  Save them as DNA (do not answer) and simply turn on your blocked option.  It works for the ex too.

I just got a call from this number but I do not own a Nissan and have not had any work done recently on my car. So I'm confused why they would call me???

These guys call me almost everyday for the past week. I never answer, but they still keep calling.  No messages left either. Guess I'll have to block their number so they get the hint.

Also from Courtesy Honda (Courtesy Auto Group) in metro Orlando. Very annoying. Agree with most comments below.

This is a crack-up. I have the number blocked so that it doesn't even ring and these guys have called me a few times a day for the last 2 weeks. I wonder when they will get the hint?

I just received a call from this number and it sounded like black woman who asked fo me by my first name and told me that she was from a unknown Toyota company, she said she could not understand me as I was on the bluetooth and she said she would call me back. I told do not call me again and she hung up.

Got a call from this number too. I too have taken my car for repair services recently. However, if I don't recognize the number I don't answer and if no voicemail is left then I consider it a trash call.
