This number Called my business line. I answered the phone and there was a recording stating to call back 888-514-9121 xtn 34658... They said it was PNC bank and it was urgent we speak with them today. Something is obviously not right. Although I have business accounts and a credit card through them they would never call in that manor.

Got a message on my answering machine from Nick saying he was from National City Bank, it was very important that I call, and to call back 888-514-9121 ext 57275."  Nick was not available but the gal in his office told me that Nick deals with collections on business accounts.  I have two NCB credit cards thru work, but they are paid in full monthly.  She wanted the acct # to check and I told her that I was quite sure that NCB would never ask me for an acct # over the phone.  I was concerned about fraud and asked her to check my name & phone to see why Nick called.  After some time she told me unfortunately she could not help me without an acct#.  I told her I would call my bank directly.

Called and left message on my cell: Spoke very fast speech and hard to understand. Told me to call him back regarding my PNC accounts. Sounds like a scam.

they have called my cell everyday about 10 times a day. i have told them no chris wade is at this number. they call me a liar. i have had this number over 2 years and they tell me that they have left a personal mesage for this chris person, i told them they may have left it on voicemail but they havent left one with me about it. and they just get rude and hang up  and then they call back. these types of people need to be shut down.

I keep getting calls for a lady named Carter.  I keep telling them not this number.  Then they get nasty and abusive and tell me I am a liar.  I have reported them.

I constantly get calls from this number that are showing up on my caller ID during the time(s) that I am at work. When I call back, a voice recording comes on telling me to press the extension of the person I am calling, but it does not give the name of the company. Unless they give some type of information regarding where they are calling from and the purpose of the call, we have nothing to talk about.

Seems like this number is National City... but is it??  I received a handwritten envelope stuck to my mailbox in my apartment building.  The letter says that if I pay over the phone using this phone number my credit card balance will be 60% forgiven!  Never in my life heard anything like this and a handwritten envelope with a badly xerox of an "offer" letter....  Smells like a scam to me!

We never had an account with National City and we are receiving these calls; two within about 10 minutes.  We didn't answer and no message was left on the answering machine.

It is illegal for them to ask your neighbor to take a note to you. They did this to me as well. I was mortified.

Frankly, the calls from this number are harassing. They pretend to be a long lost buddy named Mike and do not identify themselves. They call my parents MULTIPLE times even though I am 44, they did not co-sign on the charge card, and I have not lived with them for years. They call my neighbors multiple time, My former employer multiple times, even a place where I lived over 15 years ago and is owned by someone I am not even related to.
A million times, I have told these 'people' that I am laid off and cannot afford to pay on their measly credit card. Doesn't matter to them! They continue to call everyone I know MULTIPLE times and me MULTIPLE times a day even after 9 pm.

I smell a class action suit. It is n o wonder that flaky National City was in a position to be bought by PNC. I had done business with 'them' for 30+ years. F*** them. I hope they all get laid off in a bank fail friday.

bottom feeders. worste than the banks and lenders themselves. they dont' even leave a name or call back number. seems like they rent a number for a day or so, call about to confirm, then go back to the blocked id's and 00000000000.   They can all p****off. Call from 888-514-9121, National City collections. This is hilarious. We did a business line of credit with Nat City 5 years ago. In good standing forever - over 800 credit score. Nat city bought by PNC, with TARP money none the less, and they shut our line of credit off. We used it to capitalize our business, make payroll when AR was short...and they shut us off. The outstanding balance, about $6300, they raised the rate to 29.99% APR!!! I refuse to pay them and they are threatening me! Good luck collecting you F-ing business wrecking criminals. My tax money bailed your a$$es out and you're shutting down my business.

Collection call from National City - Rude and aggressive people. Even called my neighbor and asked them to leave a message on my door!

Calling all the time , we tell them we don,t have an account with them and they keep calling to get us to agree with them and pay them.

Safe bet this is National City. Or at least one of the less reputable agencies making their calls for them. Not nice people. One missed payment and they sick the pit-bulls on you.

Called looking for info on my stepsister & when he called her by her maiden name I thought he was kinda sketchy since she's been married for about 8 years.  Now I see I must've been somewhat right.  I've been seeing National City on my caller ID for days but this is the first I've been around to answer.

I have gotten calls from this number both at work and at home - never a message.  I actually managed to answer it at work one time (I missed them before because I was on the phone but it shows me who is trying to call in), and when they heard it was a business answering, they immediately hung up. My guess is that they are some kind of scammers - just calling any and all phone numbers to see what they get. I will be curious to see if they try calling my work number again. When I call back - I just get a generic recording to dial the number of your party's extension.

Some guy left a message saying he was from National City.  Less than 2 hours later a woman left a message saying "Hun, it's me.  My number is ....... please call me back this isn't a sales call!"

I get several calls from this number, all claiming National City Bank. Whether they are or not Idk. They keep calling for my brother in law. I know he has his account there but Idk if he owes em...probably does. But that is not my concern. I told he doesnt live here. Hopefully they dont call back. But I am sure they will.

I've gotten calls from this number two or three times. Same "Nick" from National City guy. I do have an acct with NatCity and a card that I'm paying on, but his conduct is still suspicious.
The first time he called he said "Okay Mr **** Since we're calling about your account I'm going to need you to verify your social security number" When I told him I wouldn't give it out he goes "Okay well on to the business at hand" If he needed my SS then why was it so easy for him to discuss business without it.
