Do Contact your bank and charge back the amount tell your bank that u didn't recognize them they are fraud your bank will go ahead charge bank the amount for you

Loool these people called me on friday july 1st 2011, they informed me that I had a case on the coming monday and that i needed to hire an attorney asap... i looked at my calendar at first and quickly realized that monday was the 4th of july so i told this ben johnson person tell u ur company and ur attorney happy 4th of july mother f******

Keep getting the same phone call for the last year saying the same thing.  I don't answer anymore per the police.  I went to the police when they called my place of business and threatened my boss just for talking to him.  This is a scam and don't let it bother you.  Just report the number and leave it alone.  DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY OR GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!!!

i am getting the same calls and i have been i finally changed my number they call work we tell them there is no one there by that name! last call came from Romaina!! i wish it would stop its upsetting but i know its a scam!!

I am constantly get these calls as you all have.  sometimes the number appears with a + in front of it.  As far as I have found out, when there is a + sign, it's a call from outside the US.  They are nothing but a scam.  Do not let their calls bother you, don't answer any phone number you don't know, 800's or not.  Let them leave their messages and then just delete them.  You can report them to the police but I'm not sure what they will do.  NEVER give them your bank account or your ss#, NO PERSONAL INFORMATION.  If you do, they will take every penny you have or will make.  It's difficult to deal with but they will go away at some point.  You can hardly understand their english to begin with, tell them that when they learn proper english then MAYBE you'll talk to them, LOL.

keep getting calls threatening me with jail...how many times does this have to happen before someone does something.  I am a 75 year old woman with no debts so I have no idea what this is.  Who can help me?

I have someone that keeps calling me from this number saying that I owe some money and I havent even take out a loan. They keep leaving messages with my names saying that if me or my attorney dosent call them back I will be in big trouble. Im not calling them back, but what I am going to do is report them to the better buisness people!

Received a call from 888-518-9841 saying they are a Legal Department calling because my sister, they knew her name, put me down as a reference and they needed to contact her.  Told me that if I did not return is phone call, I would be held responsible since I was a reference.  Could not understand the man very well as he did not speak very good English.  This is a scam!!  This happened last year when another number called my sister demanding payment on a loan that she did not have and threatened her by telling her the police were being contacted.  She instead called their bluff and called the police herself.  Don't give them any money!!  You cannot be threatened by a creditor of jail or arrest.  That is your legal right as a consumer.

A supposedly Josh Taylor called from the Legal Department. With an Middle Eastern accent. Not true. Different guys or the same one call with different numbers. Its a SCAM. Report it.

I work in the Human Resource department and we keep getting harrasing phone calls from this phone number asking us for information about a past employee. The guy calling claimed his name is Ben Johnson and he is calling from the Crime Investigation Burreau...yeah sure! This guy is a total joke and has left messages on our voicemail saying that he "hopes we get what we deserve" and that he is "coming after us." I don't believe a word this guy is saying, but I do wish he would just give up already!

Got call from some indian accent woman name Michelle.

She said I have some serious allegation on my name and SSN is under investigation.

U know US people they are full of crap.
1 cs they are scam
2. call from some IP phones from India
3.Call from India or Pakistan using 0000 nos.
I asked them to send me legal documents by post or come here to my work place and arrest me if they can and they hung up...

What did the police do about it? A "George Taylor & Robert Douglas"  has been calling and calling... a coulple months back they called and i almost fell for it, but talked to my mother about it and she didnt know what to do... then i went to the cash loan website and it had a warning on it about all this. So i called back, went along with it...and (never filed a app for money... almost did but canceled out) on my work card NO ONE can upload cash or anything unless i upgrade my card. They state that I owe 3,100 to them because they sent me that much money (which if they did, im pertty sure I would know) which isnt possible. I told him there is no way, and it isnt on my bank statements...he paused....told me hed give me a call back and hung up. Didnt hear from them til today... and they called my work numerous numerous times within 10 minutes my boss said they had called bout 20times. anyways, so i called them and the guy answered and started telling me the whole script of the BS of me being charged and stuff...i stopped him and said now wait a minute before you even finish what your saying.. i talked to you a couple months ago and you said the same S*** and i told you that there is no way because you wouldnt give me any proof and it wasnt on my card statements.. and he still kept arguing with me and then i was like well can i have some proof, he says just a minute...and transfers me to someone whose utterly rude. and i was like telling him that stuff and he just kept arguing. finally i just hung up... he calls and i ignore...  i recieved a voicemail saying i had 30minutes to call him back or else...and then at the end of the voicemail he tells me to watch my back........

These people keep calling me treaten me they r gonna f me up if i dont pay my debt,and call the police,that i need to have my lawer call them,said they were with morris asst law frim.say that i got a pay day loan when i have not gotten anything from no loan place

I received a call from this place, at my place of employment.  I have gotten to the point where I just ignore them.  This is nothing more than a scam and an attempt to gain your personal information.
They called from 888 518 9841.  I do not return their calls and these people, ALWAYS with an accent, specifically state, you will be sorry, if you do not call back.  Whatever.  Do not waste your time on these people.   Then they have the nerve to wish you good luck, at the end of the phone call.

These telephone calls are not legitimate and I urge you to report them to the FBI.

Keeps calling for a person who works at company and was told he not receivemessages unless it is an emergency and he just keeping calling back and call on all phones lines

I am in tears after reading all these messages, I recently did take out a payday loan and i made the payment late and they told me they were a third party collection agency. I am 22 years old and have no criminal record. I paid them a total of $800.00 in 2 payments and the third week when they called me( which is today) for payment of $866.00 I went to the Bureau of Investigations, had to close my bank accounts, and also filed a police report. It's a shame because the number they called me from on my caller id said 911. They even used the area code number from the Emergency Service in the area where I live for me to pick up and answer the phone. They had a case ID # and also legal documents. It is sad that they are robbing people blind. On my bank account statement it says UR Broadway Global -877-407-9196 or 888-518-9841. Other names they used were Dennis Steiling, Hazel Fox, and Frank Harris. They call themself the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the department of BGM.   They used these fax numbers 206-984-0354-Allen Jones, Patrick Bell-206-426-5996, 206-888-2344. Please let everyone you know about this. I am a college student and spending $800 is a great deal of money. I will continue to pray for these people and hope God has mercy on their soul.

I received several calls last week from "Ben Johnson", who would not accept my calls when I attempted to return his call.  

I left a voicemail requesting documentation regarding this alleged loan that was not paid.  Legitimate bill collectors send written notice as well as make phone calls.  I have not received any thing in writing from him, only the verbal threats in such a thick accent that I could barely understand him.   So, like everyone else, I can only come to one conclusion:  SCAM ARTIST.  

I left in my voicemail that if he called my cell, work, friends, etc. again prior to my receiving any type of documentation that the FBI, Attorney General's office will be notified.

Well if you would take my phone calls I would. But as soon as I present you with my title of a lawyer you hang up the phone so what kind of out fit are you if you will not talk to the attorney's of the clients you are supposedly suing?????????

I Have been receive these call for about two months now, last month I call back and act as if I was a lawyer and they hung up on me and did not call me back until now 5/11/2011 and in less than one hour I receive 20 calls at my place of employment ask to speak with my manager or HR. I ask them the same question can you please fax or email me a copy of a contract saying that I owe this money and when you gave it to me and I will be glad to pay you. I was told that their client did not want that information give out and if I did not pay them back there would be three changes against me and they would come to my job and home and put me in jail. Later that day I got 10 or more calls in 30 minutes asking for information from 7 different telephone numbers including my cell phone number. Well in the mean time I when to my HR and they told me to go to security and talk to the director about it I talk to him and he forward it to risk management, risk management when online and pull up the number and found this blog. We all need to contact every government agency and file a law suit our self if we only never the company name. I am going to try my best to stop this; my plans are to go to the new channel, better business bureau, FBI, Federal trade commission and a lawyer

Someone keeps calling our place of employment asking for one of my employees. They say they are a legal department for US Cash. It is a complete scam. They said there is nothing you can do to get them to stop calling. They are based out of Florida. It's some middle eastern POS trying to get money to buy beer with.

The same thing I got a call from this number from my cell and work telling me I am going to jail if I dont return there call.  Iam so sick and tired of them calling me.   Sometime they will at 5am in the morning and its every 5 mins.  The said they are from Youth cash advance.   LOL I dont know that company.  I wish they would stop calling.

Last month i recieved several phone calls from this number.  the man told me i was going to be picked up at work and thrown in jail.  he said that he hopes i enjoy my time behind bars, because i will be there for many years.  i asked what i owed money for and he never gave me a direct answer but did have all my information including ss#.  i hung up and called back several times and when the voicemail would pick up it would say "thank you for calling magic jet" finally i got ahold of someone who couldnt hardly speak english and i asked to speak to a supervisor and he then proceded to call me names, cuss me and then asked if he could be my panty supervisor.  i called a friend that is a police officer and we called the number back on 3 way.  as soon as he answered the phone i said let me speak to your supervisor he said "oh its the panty girl again..ready for me to get into your panties?"  i told him i had the line recorded and that there was a police officer on the phone as well.  he hung up.  so the PD kept trying to call back and when they finally answered they said "we dont want no cops" and hung up.  i thought it was over...till today i have gotten 3 phone calls on my cell.  AHHH  so sick of this!

They leave me several messages a day on my cell phone and call my job a couple of times a day as well ! This is getting really frustrating, as I don't know how to go about this situation ! I was already reprimanded at work, and do not want these phone calls to cost me my job .
