Called saying want to confirm address to deliver court papers and to confirm within 24 hours for positive report regarding said matters.

This is a company (Debt Collection) Ignore their actions, just stupid people......Claim to want to serve you with legal papers...

They say there name is Steinberg and Asso out of Irvine CA!!!

I think this is a scam as well how can you take me to court over a 66.00 debt they say is from 7 years ago! I emailed them and told them what my lawyer ( he is my uncle) what he said! Lets see what they say about that!

They have called me a few times, always claiming they are gonna serve me for a debt that is over 13 years old. The stature has run out years ago. These people must really scrape the bottom of the barrel in order to buy these ancients debts. Notice how no one seems to even know who they are, and they don't identify themselves. Scam if you ask me.

I received a phone call saying I was going to be summoned to court and was being sued from a credit card debt from 12 years ago. they have even called my job. I checked the statue of limitations is 4 years. Also I think if they wanted to sue me they would of done it a long time ago.

Just received phone call from this number concerning unpaid debts.   What is the name of the company does anyone know?

They came to my job today because I failed to respond in a timely manner. Have to go to court next week. I'm in Florida does anyone know Florida law?

I just got a call from a number saying they wanted to serve a summons to me on a civil matter. I asked what it was about and the caller gave me this number and a reference number which I have not called. Very disturbing!

They called me as well! They informed me I was to be served on a civil matter. As it turns out, it was concerning a financial responsibility that I failed to pay a few years back. They offered me a great deal to resolve it, and I didn't take advantage of the settlement. Now, I'm stuck with a judgement on my record and a bank levy.

What should I do now?? I can't afford legal counsel b/c I'm not working. Is there a way to get a judgement off or cancel a levy? If anyone has helpful advice please reply. Thank you.

They called my job of all places and left a message they were going to do a process serving on me.  Nobody leaves that information with your employer.  Scam of some sort.

They called pretending to be in the process of serving me a summons.   Obviously a boiler room debt collector.
