You will soon find out that they are PITA.. My husband has dealt with them for over 3 years. They will push you every two weeks for med shipments and will continue to call like this repeatedly even after being told not to.  They are over priced on so many things, keep on top of them and their billing. And if its covered by medicare, then be doubly aware they will attempt to bill many month's after Medicare say's you can't charge any more for this equipment.  As soon as the medicare 36 mo's are up, we are moving him to a local company with better service (equipment and call manors),  locally owned and operated.

I received the first call at 8:40 am this morning. I answered the call and even got me out of bed. There was no answer when I answered the phone. I got a total of 3 calls this morning. I am a new Lincare member since March 17 of 2014. These 3 calls no one answered one time. If they want to talk, then talk.

I wish the owner of this number would have their name listed with their number on caller ID. They are legitimate and they explained to me that my insurance company no longer allows them to send supplies automatically. So I need to call them every month to get my supplies. Yes, I did not answer the call and they left no message. I wish they would leave a message. Now I need to look up their order number to call and get my supplies.

you need to check your blood pressure - calling people an idiot is simply uncalled for - the poster simply commented (an in an interesting and fun way) about a company that simply will not stop calling - I recently got a new c-pap from a lincare associate and have requested both lincare and United please stop these calls - If I need supplies I have their phone number - they refuse to stop calling - I ignore them (pretty much) still they keep calling - it is irritating -
for my part I will now call the local office every time this number calls me and irritate them - and smile - no sense blowing a gasket over irritating phone calls

This is, indeed, Lincare.  My husband gets supplies from them.  When he called this number to make sure it was Lincare, they said they didn't know why it came up as "Toll Free Caller".  We get calls from them around the time my husband needs his supplies even though we order from a local company that, apparently, orders his supplies from Lincare.

Yes Lincare calls, but a company that has a good reputation, one would think would not be making calls with an unknown or not provided ID.  Makes me wonder if they are reliable.  I asked the local Lincare company about them and was told it was ok, it is confident issue.  Makes you wonder what else is hidden.   Yes when my insurance bill from them comes it is excessive. My thoughts are that I don't answer unknown or not provided calls.

Received a call from Lincare asking if I needed supplies for my CPAP. Even my equipment was in perfect order, I request one new cushion to have a spare on hand. I declined the reps suggestion to received a new cushion every month. Rep asked how often they should call back to check and I told them once every three months. Guess what, I received 3 cushions and a bill for over $500.00. My insurance co-pay was $130.00. The complete mask with all parts costs under $200 and I can buy 3 cushions for that co-pay amount. Needless to say, Lincare does not return my calls. Also, when I received the machine, Lincare told me the doctor had prescribed one specific mask and nothing else. Total BS and I have the paperwork to prove it. They just wanted to squeeze more money out of me.
Do they supply CPAP supply on a prompt and timely basis? Sure. At 10x the usual cost they can't get the parts out fast enough.
Total fraud!!!!!

Be aware that it is OK for a medical business to 'contract'
services and sure your info.    Example-  the doctor wrote a script for
my wife's CPAP.  We took it a local pharmacy who 'sold' it through
another supplier (that uses still yet a different billing company that liked
to wait two months between statements and then bill for three months).
The CPAP supplier did not sell supplies, but contracted Lincare, who
Likes to do 'delayed' billing.  
  Confusing?   Sure it is, but most people either don't question their
bills or assume that their insurance carrier is watching out for them.
As one insurance rep told me, "Most people don't question a bill, and
just pay it.

  This company isn't exactly a rip-off business, but they DO charge
rather high price for their CPAP merchandise.  If you've EVER done
business with or contacted them, you have "established a business
relationship" and they are exempt from telemarketing laws.
  Call them/answer the next call, get the salesperson's name and
Tell them not to call and that you no longer have a business
relationship with them.    Write down the time/date and name of the
person, as you will need to file a complaint if they keep calling.

Voice mail msg stated 'this is medicare calling about supplies'.  I believe it is called fraud when you misrepresent your self.  Since medicare doesnt supply my supplies  I wont be returning the call.  Thanks for the lincare info.  They are the very worst for customer support, at least in my area. I will never do business with them again. Found a much better place online that has outstanding customer support.

You are right.  My respiratory therapist told me they will annoy me trying to sell me more than I need because they make their money from pushing their sales.  And they do bill very strangely.  I get what I need to keep on hand and ignore the calls.  I also check every statement very carefully and call every time I find a strange charge.

I had a similar problem with another DME supplier after my father died. They kept calling, wanting to send out equipment for his nebulizer even after being repeatedly told he had passed away. They finally stopped calling after I demanded to speak to a supervisor and threatened to turn them into Medicare.

This is Lincare - they want to send supplies for my husband's C-PAP.   He has already told them numerous times that when he needs something he will call them.  That doesn't stop them from calling. The bad thing is - they want to call at 8:00 on a Saturday morning.  Those people that work and have to get up early during the week - would love to sleep in one day of the week and not be bothered with early morning telemarketers!

They are a legit medical supply company and people I talk to are usually kind...but they have some shady billing habits...we just received a bill yesterday for something 6 months ago and it's trying to recharge us $400 for a machine already paid for which some older people may not question and just repay.  my moms cpap broke and they had to order a new one for her at the local office location...she was awake for like a week straight bc they loaned her a crappy old one that she couldn't even use for less than a month and now they are trying to charge for 3 months of rental ($200?!?) when the employees there told her she wouldn't even have to pay anything.  Even when we answer and tell them we don't need supplies they still call at least weekly.  Mom has only received 2 boxes of supplies this year...and guess what the bill says...yup a whole lot more than that.

Yes, change your reusables blah blah blah...  I stopped using LC because I can find the items I need online for less money and yes the quality is just as good if not better. LC overcharges the insurance company, the insurance company then subtracts whatever from the charge and you wind up paying a higher cost than what you can pay online.
It's a no-brainer but try and stop LC from calling... sheesh,

You, obviously, have not read the "Page after page" of comments!  Yes some, who have no idea what Lincare does or is, have made negative comments.  I am a CPAP user and I keep my equipment serviced and working and CLEAN.  A user needs to get their regular supplies and Lincare is a primary supplier for hospitals and homes.  You NEVER have to get something you don't need but they give you the option each month. On my next regular service call I will mention that that there are many idiots in the world who don't think people need CPAP supplies or Quarterly (yes once every 3 month) reminders.

Its Lincare and I've had nothing but great service since I started working with them three years ago. I get a call every 90 days for supply reorder, as CPAP therapy highly recommends replacing your parts in a timely manner for your healths sake. I've personally researched about 9 supply companies and they are all about the same price give  or take a buck or two. So if you get a call every month, just call them and tell them you want  90 service, they only call me to remind me, when I forget. You know the old saying, you can't make everyone happy. And those that aren't feel the need to complain in hope that they will get company, because angry people don't make good social buddies.

I'm a CPAP patient, but, after so many calls from "Rachel" and her ilk, if I don 't recognize a phone number, I don't answer.  Lincare would do well to identify themselves on caller ID.  I'd be happy to speak with them.  On another note, I've gotten a lot of calls lately from "Service Dept," with 203 (CT) and 617 (MA) area codes.  Don't answer them, either.

This is Lincare...they are calling to see if you need any replacement supplies for your CPAP machine. They call my house every 6 months. They are legit and I verified it with my insurance company before they could send me my replacement supplies.
