They send me a letter claiming same thing, interesting my bank has all the info I needed vs what supposely Mr. Winters said to me on the phone.  My local police dept is notifed.  Spoke to my bank reps to block my accounts.

I recieved the same letter stating that I owe money and need to send it right away or I will be taken to court.  Whe I emailed the address on the letter requestig written documentation of debt due I was advised to call the 800 number and they would supply me what I need as they would not be supplying anthing via email or USPS.  I stated I would have my lawyer contact the number to get requested information and have not heard from them since.

they just sent me a letter saying I never paid off a loan from 2 yr ago--all lies.  they use scare tactics to get you to pay-using a credit card so they steal more info from you. tell them their scammers and hang up.

You should also go to your bank and have them close your account and open a new one - also have them put a fraud alert on all your accounts.  Report them to the FTC and your state's Attorney General.  Record any calls they make to you.

I've never had a loan from loan.com or any affiliated lender; however, these people mailed me a letter saying that they've sent me several letters and called me. They've never called me and this is the first letter. Yesterday they tried to debit $750 from my bank account. I have left them messages and emailed this rldaniels@wbtfirm.com to no avail. Not sure how they got all my info but I reported them and filed a police report.

I also am being pursued by this firm. I amnot sure if they are legit or not. They talk like attorneys, have information they shouldn't have if they aren't legit, but my 'sixth sense ' is aroused. If others have information about them, please post it so I may learn more.

Since it appears they don't have records or accurate ones at least, preserve your rights by requesting a validation letter (not verfication) so if they do take you to court, you have made a good faith effort to discover to whom you allegedly owe this money.  If you've tried to find out who this debtor is, and they don't provide you with an answer, they have not complied with the FCRA.  If they do identify a legitimate debtor, pay it and be done with them

I received a letter from Wooten, Benson and Tate, LLC and it stated that I refused to pay a loan back to LOAN.COM.  I called them and the gentleman I spoke to stated that the loan was taken out in July of 2011 on my checking account.  Not only did I not take this loan out but the checking account that the funds were
supposedly deposited into was closed by the bank in January of 2011.  I emailed the company and sent them a information from the bank showing when it was closed.

So how can I take out a loan and receive funds on a closed account.

THIS COMPANY IS NOTHING BUT A BIG SCAM.

Look up Wooten, Benson and Tate, LLC, it's a combination mail internet phone scam.  Completely fictitious, their LLC in Kansas was rescinded due to non-payment.

DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE SCAMMERS.  THEY WILL ATTEMPT TO DRAW MONEY OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT AND THEY SOMETIMES HAVE BANK INFORMATION.

I'm assuming they either hacked or got loan information from a legitimate 3rd party debt collector.  The only reason I say this is because they have the account number, the name, the address and know at some time you took out a loan with a non bank.  The only way to get this is from a hack or a dishonest loan clerk.
