I would say this is NOT AT&T. Do NOT give these people any of your information. Someone from this number called about an appointment that was scheduled for the following Monday when no appointment had been scheduled at all. I cancelled it. Then on Sunday they called back and said that I needed to call back and confirm the cancellation so that I would receive no charges. I called back and then a woman started asking me about my personal information, how she needed my pass code to verify the account and confirm cancellation. I didn't give her any information (except my last name) and I finally just told the lady that if they came I would just send them away. Don't trust these people. What a shame people can so smoothly try to pull something over on you.

totally got the call. Got to agree with What on that call not being legit. I didn't order U-verse from at&t so why should they be calling to install U-verse on a line that isn't there. Anyways my two cents. I already blocked this number.

No. This is not legit. People are scamming from the Philippines and using this number. Att will never ask for your account number when confirming an install.
Just spent an hour on the pone with the AT&T fraud department and they confirmed it is a scam. while this is a real phone number, people are scam calling and saying they are calling from this number.
Be careful.

this is a call from AT and T. They should have called by TTY or RELAY for the Deaf. Ever since I had switched from Time Warner to AT&T there have been many calls and I can not answer them on my iPhone due to my hearing loss. It seems that someone in AT&T would be desiginated to deal with hearing impaired issues by emailing the person, not makeing a call on a phone that cant be use by a hard of hearing person.
