If you have ordered anything from Grant Master, this is another company associated with it.  They will take the money out of your account without even contacting you about the program.  You have to call the 888-546-2285 number and speak with a representative to cancel such transactions!!!  It's a rip off and causes alot of trouble!!!  I got the phone number off of my online banking transactions.

Reward Me More? they are Fantastic. I went shopping at Wal-mart and received an additional 4% cash back. Thanks so much Reward Me More. I received the Phone call on Jan 4th and was more than happy to pay the 33.87 monthly fee after my 21 day free trial.

I didn't even get a call!  These people pretty much buy the info from other companys.  It should be against the law!  They just took the payment from my account. Now I have to dispute it with the bank.

Grantmaster is  stealing my hard earned money as well.  I don't think this will be going on any further.  I too purchased the $1 CD it was sent a week or two later, the CD doesn't have any program on it just a few pictures of the Grantmaster logo and a few text info documents, nothing of any use to anyone.  Surely not enough info to write a  grant of the $100,000 variety.  I would say the info is not even worth the $1 I paid for it.  I tossed the disc and chalked this one up to stupidity, owe well it was a dollar.  SURPRISE!  What are these other charges 2-3 weeks later from these other companies for 39.95, 9.95, 1.14, and so on.  I believe it was about 4 companies in total.  Never gave permission to use my Amex card for these.  Called Grantmaster, complained.  After being interupted treated poorly by customer service representative, they wanted to get me off the phone so they gave me some cancelation #'s and said they would refund the $.  I could almost hear the laughter in the background folks.
I'm not satisfied with this lie as a response, So American Express has now been alerted as well and so has my Credit Protection Agency.  AMEX has put a Fraud alert out on Grantmaster, I don't know about these other companies that my credit card and personal information have been sold to without my permission, but the Card had to be cancelled none-the-less.
I too have been scammed, and because I was being lazy have to now spend the rest of the day changing my other bills around to my other cards and accounts  because a get rich quick scam company out of Vegas has ripped me off.

I found a charge for $1.07 on my bank statement reading Bill WAUS Kirkland and Grant Masters was responsible for this charge even after I canceled. They don't even have the common Courtesy to add their phone number on my billing statement. -WARNING TO OTHERS! WATCH FOR A SMALL CHARGE AFTER CANCELING  GRANT MASTERS!Call 188-546-2919 to complain.

This company is FRAUD! If they are taking money from you as they did me, cancel the card that they have on file. They say they will cancel your account but how can you trust someone who takes an unathorized amount of money from your account every month! They are a scam and give your information out to other fraudulent companies. I had several different charges on my account from them and two other companies that I had never heard of. Report them to immediately! Check out these sites for help:

After reading all the complaints about this scam, I have decided to just cut my losses and never again visit any online grant-search "services".

I used a debit card.  Tomorrow morning, I'm withdraw all the funds in my account and close the account.  I truly think that is the only power we have in this situation.

I was first charged ninety-nine cents.  Eight days later (today), I was charged $39.95.  I have not received a CD.  And to make matters worse, when I did try to sign up for the service online, I was told my debit card info was incorrect so I assumed I hadn't really signed up for anything.  Evidently, however, they were "harvesting" credit card account numbers for this scam.

There is no way under the sun this company will get another penny from me. I advise all of you to immediately close your credit card accounts.

The info on the debit transaction on my bank statement is:  BSM/GRANT SEARCH ASST, 866-370-7.  And here is a letter from someone who implies he represents the company who calls himself RyanR who responded to a complaint similar to ours at http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/bsm-grant-assistant-c49942.html:

"I apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the services you've been receiving from our company.

This CD based Grant Program is designed to help customers Locate Grants, Find Grant Applications, Write Grant Proposals, and assist them with anything else that may be needed in the process of obtaining grant funding. The CD offers the ability to search for grants by keyword(s), in up to 5 simultaneous categories. This program is supplemented by a member's site, this site offers access to live chat support for assistance with any part of the application and proposal process or questions pertaining to the CD or the member's site. Also access to one of the largest grant data bases you can find anywhere. Where you can find both government and private grantors. It offers information from Dr. Porter who is a licensed and certified grant writer. The information that is offered through our members website is more extensive than what other companies sell in coaching programs that cost thousands of dollars. So we feel that we are offering our clients the best value in the industry. There are no commitments with the free product. However, there is a bonus free trial period to membership websites that accompanies the free CD and we do our best to disclose this as it is stated 4 times throughout the ordering process - on the sales page, the order page, the confirmation page and in the confirmation/thank you email, it is then also explained in the 1st paragraph of the Terms and Conditions of the offer. We offer the trial periods to give our clients a chance to use the service and see the value of it for themselves before they are billed for it. The trial periods are free for 7-30 days from the order date depending on which bonuses apply. We do not charge customers that call customer service and canceled during the trial period. It is not our desire to bill clients who do not want the membership after the free trial offer.

If you are another customer reading this and you can contact our customer service department at 866-370-7270 Monday thru Friday 9am to 9pm Eastern Standard Time and they will be happy to assist you. If you've already tried our customer service department and feel like you weren't treated fairly please contact me ASAP and I will address your concern immediately. Please email me at ryanr@wskc.org or call me directly at 435-773-1795 and I would be happy to address your concerns ASAP.

Sincerely,
Ryan R"

Good luck, everyone.  Remember:  close those credit card accounts immediately!

How were you able to cancel with Google?  I've been looking for a way to do that.  I also got billings from  BsmGrant Search mysteriously!  calling them was like the call to Google... more that a 15 minute wait on each call.  Google's was impossible to hear as each word was clipped and made me wonder if this was designedly so.  Bsm's reply was: "We do not accept calls from your calling area!!

I had the same experience with the same grant company except, I did get through and I called the same number you did 866-370-7270.  They told me that the 39.95 would be credited back into my account within 3-5 business days.  I'll let you know if this happens.  Another charge I also have to my account is some rewards thing for 33.87.  Have no Idea who they are, but the number I have off my bank statement, I call and no one ever answers, and you can't leave a message.

I called them. It is "Rewardsmemore" or whatever others have been saying. She said it is a 20 day trial, and I told her people were getting billed and mislead into how long the trial was and when they were allowed to bill. I am a private investigator and will look into this. (As it is a serious crime)

Did you willingly give them (unknown merchant) your debit or credit card information? Did you check through the B B B to see if this company has ever been reported?
When you give a merchant access to your checking account through your debit card, it is the same as giving someone a copy of your house key but not bother to ask their name.
To stop this company:
Report your card as lost/stolen
Send cert. and register letter to the address listed above cancel.
Keep copy for your records.

I called the 888-546-2285 for Rewardmemorelive that was listed on my bank statement.  I didn't know anything about this until I got my statement. I did call 866-370-7270 for the Grant Search and they not only cancelled that but refunded my money.  I had several charges like this on my statement and by calling the number on the statement I was able to cancel my name and get a refund of what was withdrawn.  I think they get this if you go to a site for "whatever" and then it becomes a domino effect.  I was just wanting to earn some extra money through Google and some of these came from that.  I don't know if Google is aware of this or not.  But I'm not happy to have to rectify this mess.  I'll keep trying on this 888 number to get this stopped becauser it is $33.47, but stopping a payment can cost a lot, too.  Good luck to all of you.  Guess we need to read the fine print more closely.
